It certainly looks like it, although the analysis software I'm using won't allow me to increase brightness. Maybe someone else could brighten it up a bit for us?

The fact that he had booked the hotel room and there was a record of it, and that he now has a nifty chest camera, implies that he lost at least SOME time. And if he lost some time, then he probably is telling the truth that he lost 7 whole months.

Shit, dude, though, the whole time I was watching that I was all like "JAY JAY YOU'VE GOT CAMERAS ALL AROUND YOU CHECK THE FOOTAGE WHAT ARE YOU DOING JAAAAY CHECK THE FOOOOTAGE"...etc. I mean, you lose 7 months, you want to immediately know what the hell happened, right?

I suppose he's probably just shell shocked.

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they threw us a curve-ball here, and that Jay IS the new Alex, but is also the one who is solving the mystery. Elegant solution, Troy and Joseph!

Also, I'm reasonably certain that there's no Operator in this. Maybe Operator-influence -- the pulsing TV, for one -- or maybe Jay's just got some Operator-essence in him now too that does the same shit that Masky does around electronics.

I never considered this... It could give the second twitpic more in-game relevance. Rather than being the date of MH 2's beginning, it could be the date of Jay's destination.

But at the same time, Jay woke up in a room that he had apparently payed for the night previous, with a camera that he didn't remember setting up. Unless all this was eerily coordinated by a third party, it seems a little farfetched.

Just something to digest.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the strap-on as well.

Yes, it's Jay's hand and I'm pretty sure he's just holding his car keys, because he does get into his car to drive around the area.
