Great catch, even if it is a more of a reddish-brown, that color coupled with the visual effect in the twitpic could equal that look.

The 'tendril' has been established to be a hair.

I dunno, man, what else is it supposed to be? I mean, I see a head, hand... Ehh its weird but at this point you really cant tell. For J to lose 7 months of memory means that slendereffects have had him hard now. He may have taken up this "practice" persay of using the mask? There is really anythings that can happen due to this.

 		If MH is back I suppose I'd better register.
Anyway: I'm not sure why, but I get the feeling there's nothing strange about this entry and they knew after such a wait we'd see more than they could put in.

 		From entry 26, we know that Jay has been hotel hopping for a while. He also says his memory is better while doing this.

Then, he gets a package, so someone knows where he has been this whole time.

So, some one knows where he has been up to the end of entry 26, and his memory has gotten worse between the two.

Also, Jay has a return address from the package he received, and stated that he was going to that address.

I think it makes perfect sense for the intro video to have no Operator in it! It's been seven months, it's a whole new season, they're starting off more slowly. This is the perfect opportunity for them to ramp up the tension slowly... especially because man, it's not like the entry was without bulk! We've had a HUGE revelation without there being a lick of Operator visible.

I'm reasonably sure that brown shape is not the Operator, but furniture. It's not classy enough for an Operator sighting, anyways.

As for the bumping theories, the ones I remember are...
1. Weird-ass alarm clock
2. TV turning rapidly on and off, and being old school, making a noise when it does
3. Someone supernatural having an effect on the TV such that it rapidly flickers and makes such a noise, ie the Operator, Masky or even Jay himself
4. Masky hiding near the TV bangin' on it to freak Jay out.

Did I miss any?

 		My favorite part is at the 1 minute mark, where Jay swivels the chair to peek out the window - it changes the reflection of the curtains on the TV juuuust right ;D
