[Wild Spec] Let's try and communicate with the Pious Flea.

Quote:

This seems to be the only language that the P.Flea can understand. Unfortunately, the Sleeping Princess has been captured.(thanks alot weephun). We can still bounce back though. Let's take a closer look at the old archived pages.

gretel.html
lookingglass.html

In these two pages the P.Flea is not a threat. It just wants to understand. It does not understand English, Unless you use the Language posted above. The Sleeping Princess was starting to see this as well.

There must be a way to talk to the P.Flea using this Language. Let's try to talk to the P.Flea instead of Purging it from the Server. The P.Flea might turn out to be very helpful.

Comments ..... Please!?!?

[Edit] New info regarding P.Flea Contact
Quote:

Please Refer to this Thread for a Better Understanding of How to contact The Pious Flea

It appears that this thread was first. Our efforts to talk to the Flea may have worked. Keep sending those Syntax (Flea Language) Emails.

Thanks to all who responded to this Thread.

Check out the respones to the 9/24 email HERE

First off, this blasting of weephun is rediculous. It is an ingame event that
was going to happen regardless. The friggin' clues are everywhere.

Second, I agree. Except for Melissa, the Pious Flea is the only free entity
on ILB. We need to make use of him. Promise him the Princess will give
him a kiss or a grope or some such nonsense.

Use him like a remote controlled spy device.

That settles it.. I'm going to send an email in PF language, white-on-white. Any ideas what to put?

I'm thinking along the lines of:

!label Oecumenix
Oecumenix > !behold seeker > !transmit seeker > !transmit Princess

is that syntax correct?

I agree with angribuddhist, weephun has done nothing but help the game (a fact I am most appreciative of). I am sure some of the comments are in jest, and that is all cool, but this is ONLY a game (I am speaking in general, so I do not want deceptaconS to think I am directing my frustration at him). Perhaps I have misunderstood the tone some folks have posted about the crew phone conversation in regards to SP, but I am obviously not the only one to see it. Please forgive my rant, but when I see a post from weephun about lying low for a few days, we have a problem! He role played (and quite good I might ad) 300 xp to weephun! I know this is a bit off topic, so please allow me to try and bring myself back to topic... do we have any reason to believe that Melissa or the flea are even aware of the ladybee777 email? are there alternative methods of trying to contact the flea. Again, I ask everyone to forgive the frustration in my tone earlier, I just want everyone to be careful about roasting weephun when it is not productive. Very Happy

I can't help with the syntax, but I think it's a good idea--the PF might know where the SP is, or at least what happened to her.

I've been analyzing the PF language, and I got the basics. Sorry, Oecumenix, but I think you're a bit off.

However, a few observations:
a) The PF does understand basic English, when listening to SP's responses. Some concepts he doesn't get, but the language he understands.
b) The PF can even speak in basic English, when invoking his transmit proc, although it is rare for him to do so
c) There is no known mechanism for communicating directly with the PF. ladybee's email may or may not be visible to PF. I guess there's only one way to find out...... Smile

Yeah but it's fun to blame weephun. I don't think anyone is serious in their blasting of him (if they are, they should be shot)

I think it would be fun to contac tthe PF just to see if we can get him to influence Melissa in some way that we would like to have her influenced in. Or something. Instead of a remote control spy device, how bout an actual remote control?

If it's even possible to contact anyone but SP with an email I suggest:

1. A Crew member should send it.
2. The content should be addressed to Melissa.
3. There should be hidden Flea language in the body of the message.
4. The "title" or topic of the email should point to the hidden text.
Something like "Message to the Pious."

Keep in mind that SP was in the 404 page which is the dungeon.
People wonder where she is. Well she's probably still there but
Melissa now has control.
And remember that Melissa doesn't see the Flea, she believes him
to be a newer version of the SPDR.

I was bored and decided this was a good idea. So, I asked a VERY computer savy friend of mine about Syntax, only to be asked what type. After many examples and explination of Ilovebees, I had gotten nowhere and just decided to wing it:

Show me the law and the whole law

I sent one earlier that had a little more to it. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

I sent an e-mail to the Pious Flea. Let's see if it helps.

I basically asked it why it wants to help Melissa, and why it wanted to know where the SP went (on one page, it tries to find the SP and fails).

Yes, I'm new here, but I've followed this, and this fora, from the beginning.

What's the Pious Flea's email address? piousfleaSPLATilovebees.com? Or did you send it to ladybee777SPLAThotmail.com? And also, you might want to post the contents of the email to the forums.

Er, I sent it to ladybee777.

Ah hell, Iscrewed it up. My first draft of the e-mail was a threat to Melissa, with something to the Pious Flea in white on it, then I decided to send it straight to him. Upon noticing what was final, after sending it, it's now a hate mail to 'Melissa Flea'. Never was good with e-mail. Embarassed

Never mind my earlier post. Heh, that wasn't the best first post in the world, now was it? Sorry. Confused

I sent the preceding text to the Pious Flea since it seems he's now discovered hotmail.com. Razz

It's basically telling him to keep up the search (but if you're a real beekeeper you knew that already, didn't you? Wink )
