Being the leader has its toll. Evan's always kinda lead the trail, first being the one to believe in Slender Man's existance, and then being the first to want to bring him down. Given the nature of their circumstances, a split personality just might be his way of dealing with all of this.

That doesn't fly. We know that the Rake is more than just a 'personality'. Vince actually saw the physical form of the Rake, and that was Vince and Jeff. Evan was with Jesse at the time, somewhere else. I seriously doubt that the Rake comes from Evan.

THOUGH, if we want to open up all possibilities, I can think of an example where an individual psychically projected entities, with their mind alone. That's the only way I can legitimize the Evan is Rake theory.

I'm just basing it off what it sounds like to me. My brain is assuming the Rake is talking to Slendy through Evan and the "fish" are Jeff, Vince and Alex.

That's just a guess. By no means am I saying it's what's actually happening. The tone of voice that Evan speaks in just comes off as the voice that a pale naked man with sharp claws might speak in.

Did it ever say the two boys were taken from the same situation and knew this "Reverend Green"?

You know, when I was reading Corenthal's second report, I noted something.

"Father, I would make sure it was okay with Man before we did that. He is very, very greedy. Apparently, the Reverend didn't know that Man doesn't share."

It's interesting to note that Vinnie doesn't refer to Captain Habit here, but 'Man'. I have a feeling that this is a separate entity, from Captain Habit. I think he's referring to Slender, here.

Awesome video, I'm more stoked for this than MH (the new which I have yet to watch still!).

Anyway, I sent an email too, so I guess we'll collectively see!

Everyone is tripping over the bricks they shat after they signed up, some are hesitant.

Yet I signed up without a second thought, and I might just be excited over this.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OH GOD IM BECOMING LIKE EVAN!

I signed up straight away. I've missed all the other audience participation pieces, and I'm too far away from them to find any of their boxes...

And, uh, holy everloving CRAP what did I just watch? O.O The theories... Evan's definitely sharing headspace with something or someone.

Before this video, I was of the opinion that everyone involved, Damsel included, needed to sit down in a room and pool information. Now... not so sure.

And, uhm, has anyone tried tweeting or e-mailing Jeff to see a) if he's okay (I know it sounds like he posted the video but I do not care) and b) if the boys can see the Evan pieces of the video. Or is it more hidden video...

I'm pretty excited to see what this game will involve. I mean, it's brilliant when you think about it. One of the biggest part of an ARG is to work with other players to solve the puzzles that you're given. But with this one.. if we follow the rules (which I'm sure we all will-- lest we end up like Ryan), we're not working together. We're supposed to be doing it all by ourselves; so HABIT or whoever is just splitting us from the herd.

Which isn't very good when you think about it: safety in numbers, and all. o_o

Yes. Not only are we being isolated from one another, per the rules, but we're being actively pitted against one another. This is a tournament, after all, and there can be only one.

Yeah, I saw that too... I think he is referring to Slenders.

Unless Slenders is Captain Habit... Or maybe this plot is too jigsaw-y than it would be if it were told in third person.

(To EMH guys, I am not minimizing your plight. I'd like to sleep at night comfortably, though. PS: Signing up for that contest might not be very safe for you. THINK.)

Hey, I won't be signing up for this because I will be extremely glad when i will be the only one alive and will have to fight againt Habit and it will be an extreme duel to the death.

That's fine by me,lol.

Doesn't this situation remind anyone of the BEN video game from the haunted Majora's Mask story?

My favorite question is "PREFERRED BLOOD TYPE"

Not what IS my blood type... but which one I prefer.

As if I'm being offered a wine list.

There's no way that Captain Habit will know who is or isn't working together, you do realize; we didn't provide username references. It's an honor code more than anything else.

I intend to abide by that honor code, though.

To the good Captain: I cherish freedom the most, and I hate boredom.

EDIT: This DOES remind me of Ben...I loved that, too.
