Interesting... Why might "hugh_inn" be an appropriate or ironic name?

"Spock Vulture" <mu_nin@hotmail.com>

munin and hugin (hugh_inn) are ravens of the Norse God Odin.
hugin(thought) and munin(memory).
"They are sent out at dawn to gather information and return in the evening. They perch on the god's shoulders and whisper the news into his ears."

sapagoo, you're a star. Very Happy

So we have another link to memory - mu_nin is Ewan's memory, in a way, reminding him of the past horrors which he has forgotten.

I am not in-game, assuming this is a game.

My journal entry was intended as a message, not a clue.

...which would also track with the original email sent to wholok which was addressed (at the time, we assumed it was a typo) to whoLOKI. Apparently we have a bit of conflation happening here betwixt Norse mythology, Greek, and standard Christian Old Testament mythos (the Noah ref.) Throw in the references to "Sister Sparrow" and "Roberta" in E's journal (assuming these two are the same person, I'm supposing this is some sort of "Donnie Darko" allusion), and his referring to himself as "Ewan McGregor" (which calls to mind "Trainspotting" and the hobo parallels associated therewith) and you have a rather chaotic crazy-quilt of mythological and filmic soup. (/me shudders at the possibility of time-travel related subplots.)

Will sic Bubastis on the trail to see what she can sniff up out in the urban desert. More as I find it.

I'd assumed this was an allusion to the Beast. Good catch tho'.

Something has to kick Ozy in the ass and get him more active again! Why not a stalking by an ARG character? Ozy, watch your back!

(Yeah yeah I know, I should talk; my talk stats are pitiful.)
