is there any possible connection between the

or should we just wait for tomorrow? maybe chat?

Theres no real way to know if Josh has seen the badges yet..Until the next chat when he might ask what they are..
Looks like the NOVEMBER 23RD in all caps might be intentional to signal our Mystic Dude that Josh has looked in the cannister and is ready to report his findings in a new chat ..

New Post

Wouldn't be the first holiday without his mother? or am I wrong about that, if it is he must be really happy then.

The little run-on in his post bothers me, hope we get more tomorrow.

How could Josh be getting one with no fanfare and, wouldnt it cost a fortune to buy?

this is akin to finding a living Dinosaur....
Only Bill Gates could afford that!

Watch out ol Naive Josh.. The bad guys may have found you..

i did a hell of alot of research on Coelacanth during the early days there not as rare as josh or news would have you bleve it takes a lot or research but there are Coelacanth around so assuming he knows the rite people it is more than possable to get hold of one but a living one is a diffrent story just look at google images for pics of Coelacanth with divers theres quite a few i know this is not very helpful but i thoug ied judt point it out

also whats the password for the chat i forgot it

Has anyone checked STIES to see if there's anything new on the e-mail thread? I don't have access to a printer at the moment so I can't check. :/

Just checked -- nothing new at 9:55 AM Eastern US.

EDIT: Maybe the 4D & 5O was just for the last chat. I wonder if there will be a chat today at 2:48 PM or if we should be looking for a chat time and password somewhere else. Maybe the image ID numbers had a clue...or maybe not. Josh did say I promise I won't let it (majorly) interfere with our Thanksgiving plans. Mayabe just minorly in a little chat. I guess we'll know soon.

In defense of melodyman's claim of being snowed, re: Josho being snowed, while flibble, you're correct that the coelacanth is not as rare as once thought--the ultimate in "rarity" being considered extinct--it's one thing to catch our fishy friend, but another thing to...

well, pardon me while I digress, but let's assume one of the coelacanth has been caught and it's arranged to turn it over to Josh. Just how will that be accomplished without being busted by the eco-police? Confused

but getting back to what I began to say, it's one thing to catch a coelacanth, but an entirely different one to house one, keeping it alive in an aquarium.

From any research I did way back when we all had "coelacanth fever," no scientist had successfully kept a coelacanth alive in an aquarium for more than a hour. Crying or Very sad

So, yeah, I'm with Melodyman on this one--I think from the time Mysterio realized that Josh was part of the puzzle, Josh was a had lad. You can especially see this attitude in the first chat; Mysterio is asked a question by Josh, and the response is mostly a non-response. Yet when Mysterio asks Josh a question, Josh--if we are to believe what he answered was the truth, and that's for another discussion--compliantly responds. Shocked

I think the bottom line is what type of person is Josh? Is he the type that would act rather dopey and act as though he was "giving away the farm" and yet be holding back from Mysterio key elements of this puzzle, or is he how he appears? Someone who is obsessed with a fish to the point that he would discount the fact that I mentioned above regarding housing the coelacanth; is he so interested in a father he never knew when growing up that he would confide in someone he knows even less about? Rolling Eyes

yer i see you point and now the point if the original post and your rite about the keeping it alive thing maby it is some one trying to get to josh i was hoping josh was not this stupid after all the warnings he's been given as for the reviving of rare fish or endangered anything there is always a way around avoiding the eco police i wont go in to details nor names etc but i a friend used to keep marine fish and when the export of coral started (i know not quite the same as endangered fish) it was pritty easy to get hold of even with the eco police doing there bit to stop it hopefuly im rite and your wrong and josh is safe but if your rite he cud be busted and we dont want that to happen quite yet we still need info from him

Thanksgiving Dinner

I go away for a week on vacation and that's when good ol Josh decides to post....... Rolling Eyes

I think that Josh's thanksgiving day guest sounds like a female. I'm guessing the person may be Sarah. Im also guessing that Sarah is an agent for NSA or some sort of Military Black Ops who was planted to get close to Josh. He doesn't seem too bright about what's happening around him. He probably talks about the fish all the time at work without giving it a 2nd thought. Cool

By the way, happy belated Thanksgiving Everyone. Very Happy

To Chat or Not to Chat?

Here's some more of my barking speculation:
Was there supposed to be another chat at 4D&5O?
Maybe "they" found Josh, and Josh was NA for chat for 4D&5O.
Maybe there's another Josh/Mysterio contact arrangement we need to figure out.
Maybe Josh used his last HLM post to tell Mysterio to re-schedule chat due to turkey day plans with certain someone.

Like I mentioned before, the post heading is off:
NOVEMBER 23RD
By Josh | Published: November 24, 2010

First line says 23 and second says 24.
Maybe this is Josh trying to tell Mysterio to delay chat one day from 4D&5O to 4D&6O.

Then there are the all-caps:
GREAT FOUND A COELACANTH
An anagram of this is
RED FLAG CUE CHAT AT NOON.

So maybe chat today (4D & 6O) at noon???

Just some friendly brainstorming to consider…

Great anagram, but this isn't the first time the journal date and publishing date have been off. And the last one didn't lead to anything significant. We'll see though.
