 		I think if this forum was taken out of the archive, and we had an active mod or two, it'd be good again. I wish we had the guy who did a model of the house with Gary's Mod again, and the IRC group. The break just killed this community.

 		I think the two main problems that would present itself with offloading to a new forum would be that we would lose any chance of the oldbies coming back (as I have a feeling people will trickle back, at least to check out how the forum is doing, once they remember about us) and a new, independent forum would have no way of letting new fans (not the retarded ones, but the ones who actually want to discuss stuff) know where we are and what we're up to without posting a link in this forum. I think an independent new forum would stagnate, unfortunately, as much as I like the idea.

Really, I'm tempted to shell out the $10 and go join the Something Awful thread. That's established, well-known, and mostly bullshit-free.

Not much happens in the thread there though. I mean there's some speculation, but nothing like here. This was the best place for a MH community.

 		I like to think I've been around a while, participated in my fair share of games. Not super old school, but early 2010 at least.

I still like uF and I don't think we should lower ourselves (as many forums do) to the old chestnut of "this place ain't what it used to be". Before you know it we'll be referring to each other as ***fags and talking about the uF "cancer".

From the start I've found uF to be friendly, welcoming, tolerant (which is a totally undervalued quality on the internet) and fun. For now, we should just try to set an example, continue to be constructive, patient and helpful and hope that our fellow forum users have the decency to do the same.
