My previous comment still stands, I think that we are over analyzing the parent stuff.

I agree. I truly think they're just trying to hard to tell us that Adults are useless.

He didn't know the difference between Sith or Jedi until Evan explained which one got the force choke powers.

I just thought about something. Someone asked if the guys could swim, right? And they said that they all learned in gradeschool - they actually joked about this quite a bit, right?

---But they also said that they met Evan when he was a Sophmore.

Sophmore decidedly comes after gradeschool...right?

I don't think we are. I mean, if you were going to make up an excuse, that's not what I'd go for. That's a really disturbing excuse, and Jeff and Alex leave the room and they get serious when explaining it. And Jeff and his creepy as fuck insurance comment when he comes back.
But I think we can't really go any further with it yet as we have no idea what the implications of it are beyond "Oh hai, Alex is probably the second craziest one here behind Evan"

Yeah, but they probably all took the class and had to swim. Separately.

Well, I gave up looking for now.

Besides, if Mira wants to see me on facebook for real, she'll send me something or post something that gives more info. Or just find me herself.

No, no - there's one part where they're all joking about one student in the class, and Evan himself is joking about him too. I'm trying to find the part where this happens.

What I meant is that I think that there is too much discussion around the logistics of their setup, which I find totally irrelevant. And ya, dead parents are kinda a big deal, but I don't think it means much in terms of the series.

Basically a long roundabout way of saying that we're saying the same thing.

EDIT: @ Sumias, it also could've been a OOG slip up, I mean if its joking around and they all know whatever backstory they want. maybe Evan forgot he wasn't supposed to be a part of it.

Nah they all joked about it together (which was cute). But I thought they said public school not grade school. It's right after their other public school comment from A Day With Green Feathers

We are aren't we.
As interesting as it is, you're right. As far as we know at this point, it doesn't have much if any relevance to the story.

The HYBRIDS created a continuity error.

In the video Alex, when Evan goes to Jeff's house to talk to Alex about his wounds.

Alex: "Hey man..."
Evan: "Hey! Lemme see it."
Alex: "What...?"
Evan: "Lemme see it."
Alex: "Let's go upstairs."
Alex and Evan go to the second floor of Jeff's house, into Alex's room.
Alex: "I just don't want the parents to hear this."
Evan: "I can understand that."

Also, in the video "I'm ok" on Alex's channel.

Alex: "...You're the only ones I can show. Showing my parents..." this in reference to the wounds on his arm.

It's a simple continuity error I'd imagine. Still, it'll throw people for a loop when they realize Alex has been talking as if their (Jeff and Alex) parents are alive and well.

Edit: I see I'm late to the party.

Quick Ustream question, did the crew ever acknowledge/respond to Teh Shovel? It was brought up on the Ustream thread, but I don't remember that happening (I also had difficulties keeping up with everything.)
