Be glad of that.

Amen to that. Also, be glad you weren't around for that troll who compared everything to Lady Gaga's penis.

I am suspicious of the newbie. >Sad

Who, me?

Why?

I'm not new, I'm back from hiatus. I have a couple hundred posts already, every single one is right here in the Marble Hornets forum. I participated in MH and JAFOOL. I planned on joining EMH, but I feel lost about a lot of it.

Na, nc, a different newbie, I forget his name ATM, but he's mentioned it a few times. I say no more, lest I run the risk of jinxing the frequency it has been mentioned.

Hahaha, no, not you! I mean the guy with six posts, all six of which are trolling, spam and pictures of douches. I'm sure you know the one.

I have an evil plan!

In honor of MHII, I have decided to make a Slender Scarf. I am no stranger to long scarves, having just completed my Season 18 Tom Baker Doctor Who scarf (the burgundy one), measuring in at 24 feet. I don't think my Slendy needs to be quite that long... but with His infamous arms and legs, I find it morbidly amusing to use something like that as a scarf.

I'm thinking a "body" line with thinner "arms" attached outwards from one end of the scarf, and a stuffed single crocheted "head." I got to figure out how to do the tie, but other than that, I think it's perfectly straightforward.

I can't wait!

Now that is crafty awesomeness. Surprised That thing'll be epic. If I knew anything about crochet, I'd try to advise about the tie... but as it is, I'll just cheer you on and say PICS PLZ Very Happy

Fellow Whovian over here, and I... can I see the Fourth Doctor scarf you made? I love it when people make them. (I've been meaning to, but I'm lazy/busy.)

Also oh man. Cannot wait for the Slenderscarf, man. '
Along the same lines, maybe a Masky hat is due for some knitting... I do have a lot of black yarn and several needles I'm not using!

I admit, I laughed for a solid 10 minutes at "Jaykets", I now present you with an internets, and a brownie.

@Mops Of course you can see it! I used brighter reds than is strictly accurate, and a knit/perl stitch instead of whatever it is you're supposed to do. I did crochet a red border along the outside, though. It took me about a year to complete, but that's only because I kept starting and stopping (I am a crazy grad student).

I just repaired a couple of spots. I wore it to the Stewart/Colbert Rally for Sanity and/or Fear, and it got a little... loved.

After haunting these forums for a while and finally registering, it occurred to me: Mr. Thin does attract his share of Whovians, doesn't he? Very Happy

Umm, for the tie, I was thinking that you could crochet/knit on top of the black bits with some white and do whatever pattern you want, probably in a 'V' shape with some alterations to make the white collar and tie-shape?

So I work at a call center...for televangelists...yea I know shut up.

So this guy called in today ordering some worship music and his phone was going in and out, but in a weird way, kinda hissy and at regular intervals. It reminded me of the strange effects the operator has on electronics in MH. I can't explain why, it was just normal static shit. But I was scared to death for the guy on the other end.

Earlier today I scared myself silly while washing dishes.

I had left a hamper with clean clothes on top of the dryer. From where I was standing, out of the corner of my eye, it looks like someone was standing there, watching me....

O>O
Oh man, between EMH and MH, I don't know how I'm gonna end up sleeping this year XD Plus if TT picks up....

edit!: By the way, going to the store today to get some black and white yarn. IT'S CROCHETING TIEM.
