Ok, If the shadow was Slenderman, why was he behind Evan? That makes him talking to an empty chair even more crazy and scary.

Hey guys, I don't think that it's Evan because it appears right in front of Jeff while Evan comes up behind him. The shadow is completely still as though it's been standing there the whole time so if Evan magically learned how to transport himself, I don't think it'd look like that. It'd be rather silly and pointless as well because the existence of that clip seems to be meant to imply that someone else was there. I'm in between Slendy or HABIT but assuming Slendy. The distortion sounds at the end are Slendy related and since it's very much a possibility that HABIT is possessing Evan at that moment, he wouldn't then transport himself into his own physical form just to scare the shit outta Jeff.

Actually now that I think about it, Donnie Darko could easily be very applicable. Giant bunny RABBITs making you do bad things and wormholes/time control. Maybe I'll go watch it again.

It might be worth checking out

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the director's interpretation, which involves parallelish universe, the Manipulated Dead, and...stuff.

Slendy is entirely capable of transporting himself I think but more likely, in my opinion is that whoever Evan is talking to is someone other than Slendy. For example in the "Slender Man" video, Evan talks to the figure in the chair ABOUT slenderman and begs the being for help and it responds with the solution (which we can't hear) that leads Evan to attack Vince. This strongly suggests, if we are taking those leaked videos as evidence for the real storyline, that who posessed!Evan talks to is not Slendy.

No, it doesn't. It looks like a black human-like mass. It's too black and too grainy for you to make out anything, even if there WERE features. There's no way of determining a face or LACK of a face. Trust me, I've shot that thing through the ringer in Photoshop. Jumping to conclusions without any shred of evidence is sort of pointless.

im not talking about wether it has aface or not. the shadow lacks ears, or any outlines of hair.
evan has both. slenderman has neither

Again, you're basing this 'outline' on a picture that is so dark and so grainy that you can't tell what's outline and what's background shadow/noise.

Cleaned up, it looks like this:

Even here, you couldn't tell if that silhouette has ears or not. Or hair. It's impossible to tell. There is no visible hairline, which means there could be hair there. You can't tell. Same with the ears. Trust me, there could be ears there, but we can't see them because crappy image is crappy.

Man, I love Donnie Darko...but I really don't want any Theory of Time Travel mixed in EMH.

I did crap myself a little bit when Jeff mentioned Darko...I got scared they were going to reference my stupid dream(like 300 pages ago).

As far as that scene goes with "Evan". "Evan" referes to Evan when talking to whoever. So I don't think "Evan" is Evan at that point.

It's weird. In Slenderman, Evan is talking to a chair, but we hear what sounds the Rake in conversation with him. And Evan is obviously talking about Slendy.

In this one, "Evan" is talking about Slenderman. And when he attacks Vince, he's shown signs of being a Slender Puppet with the bleeding from the ears.( OR HE STABBED HIS EARS TO SILENCE SLENDY )

I feel like there are connections, but as I feel with House of Leaves, I don't think its anything too applicable.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Unless Evan is the next whatever they call it, the thing Donnie is, and wakes up one morning with a jet engine in his room and has to die in order to save Damsel, thwart Slendy and the Rake, etc.

Plus I love Frank, HABIT on the other hand, scares me.

Ever since the 78of76.avi video, we kinda have to assume that Slendy has control of space and time one way or another. So the flexibility of space and time is obviously related closely to slenderman. Donnie Darko being related is not far-fetched at all when you think about how the fact that it includes rabbits and time travel. lol

Do you think maybe when Posessed!Evan talks to the chair and mentions Evan, it's possible that he's referring to the Corenthal age Evan? I mean it's really hard to distinguish at this point when our modern boys are the ones being talked about and not.

As for the bleeding from the ears, that is a good thing to point out. Do you think the bleeding could be caused simply by listening to The Rake or whoever was in that chair talk to him?

We could definitely jury-rig the Theory of Time Travel in there, but I just don't see it.

We don't have an artifact. And a Tangent Universe isn't supposed to last very long. EMH is pretty established time-wise.

If anything is take from DD, it'll be Frank and whatever Watership Down references they had.

It might not be applicable now, but it's worth paying attention to in case it becomes applicable later. But yeah, I don't think it's going to help us reveal anything at the moment.

The Ark could be the Tangent Universe, unless I'm seriously misremembering Donnie Darko. Which is very possible.

Though I kinda like the Evan as Donnie thing. I don't think its real, but I like the image. And Slendy can be his Frank.

Also I wouldn't totally approve of EMH ripping off Donnie Darko Theory.
