I destroyed the original damaged #105 when I received the replacement #105. 42E was cool enough to provide these to us in the first place and I feel like it helps maintain the integrity of the 999 number if there really are only one of each numbered poster in existence. (Maybe it's the old Eagle Scout in me, but it felt like the right thing to do.)

Yeah I never thought of that. That is pretty intense devotion. I would take it to a safe spot and burn it to Da Grayound!

That's what I'm considering doing. If the prize is one of 999 posters, then you get a replacement, you have to destroy the messed up one or keep it, and not give it away

I couldn't agree more. Destroying it is the right thing to do. Also, why would you take advantage of someone who is desperate for a poster and trade them a crappy, beaten up poster? That's kinda cruel.

 		I'm still a little conflicted. Even if I did trade it away, I wouldn't accept money, only swag that I wasn't fortunate enough to get, and I would not take advantage of the other person, as the poster is really damaged.

Well, this all greatly hinges on if 42E has mercy on my soul -_-

Leaning toward destroying, keeping, or giving to a friend who doesn't care for tron but likes the design.

When you trade, it's for other goods. If you accept cash for the hidiously damaged poster, you're selling it, not trading it.

 		I don't understand about it being wrong about giving a creased poster away (I can see if you give a shit for selling one - rather I agree with it or not) bit giving it away? Why destroy it? Then you destroy one of 999 and not only mess up he numbering but mess up the chance for one more person who could have had the one you needed replaced. All the while you get two in the end all because you had have one without a tiny crease an then destroy the first one so no one may enjoy it. If you don't want someone having the "messed up" poster and you would rather destroy and get a new one. Well....maybe You are the greedy one. And maybe you should have kept your first one and dealt with it so that 900thish person could have had theirs. It would be awesome just to get a poster period.


Oh and its crazy here in the states....once you own something you can do what ever you want with it....freedom...crazy.

Isn't 42 Entertainment doing exactly that? Replacing the damaged poster with the SAME number? If you don't destroy it, you'll have two of the same #. How on earth does it make sense to have 1,000 posters, when there should only be 999?! That is messed up.

Also, IGNORANCE was asking a question, soliciting responses. The last time I checked another nutty thing we can do in the states is express our opinion, even if it is contrary to yours. Nutty, but true!
