The issue is this: Satyr called them testosterone-engorged whatevers OOG, in another forum. It wasn't said as 'Jon', it was said as Jon's creator, as a reviewer.

HOWEVER: Jeff replied as Jeff - he didn't comment on what Satyr said as a reviewer. He merely commented on the fact that someone was insulting him, without knowing him.

IMO, Jeff is in the right, here. He did not break the fourth wall by commenting on EMH as a series. He defended an attack against his person, from someone who doesn't know him - as Jeff, or as the real player behind Jeff - from Adam's house cat.

 		As a gay fan I wasn't offended by the initial comment, but I appreciated them apologizing for the gaffe.

OTOH since the Jonclubs series flamed out worse than JAF I'm not sure what this guy is doing at this point other than digging a deeper hole for himself. It's a shame because I saw a bit of promise there initially. Or should I say, inithially.

Ugh, exactly. I just don't understand people.
From what I saw, he actually didn't seem to have that big of a problem with the series itself (beyond wanting to know the ending). He was being an ass about the guys themselves, in character and out of character. I think that's why it pisses me off so much. I've talked to Jeff OOG, and he was as sweet as could be every time. I just don't get why he's so mad at them.

And Sumias, I agree 100%.

Also, the dude from TT is getting mad points in my book.
