Hey, new user here, can anyone help?

I'm trying to see if anyone has replied to any of my posts, is there any way to check my own posts?

Also, if this isn't in the right place, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me where help questions should be sent from now on.

You can subscribe to the thread to be notified if/when posts are added. On the top right side of the tread, look for the little white envelope, hovering your cursor over it will tell you it is a "subscribe to this thread" - 1. be logged into your account. 2. click on the envelope. 3. Wait for emails to tell you something has occurred on the thread you are watching.

Some of us would bypass that and just check in every day (or hour or 5 minutes) and check the thread to see if anyone has replied.

Note: I would suggest not posting every five minutes if no one has responded as many users here have other lives such as work/school/home life that keep us from responding in 5 minutes. I'd say give things a few days to develop before worrying.
