 		So, a friend and I are very seriously considering starting what we hope will be a rather unique blog/video series. Thanks for this thread guys, you are all awesome and it was fun/informative to read.

I am pleased by the fact that several of the things that a bunch of you mentioned wanting will be in our idea. HAHA, I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THESE THOUGHTS. Hopefully this works out.

 		Holy crap Everyman Hybrid is plain out of control.

Hobbits,Rakes, Damsels,countless blogs, Unstreams, twitters, sub-youtube accounts and possessed buffalo chicken wings.. I give up on that one..

I'm sticking with TT and Marble Hornets.Jonclubs is unwatchable and The Outsiders one.. well.. its pretty low quality and the words "not camera friendly" comes to mind when watching..

 		Yeah, I got behind by about 4 months on that one and there is NO HOPE that I will ever catch up. There's just too much outside stuff to keep up with. So I'm not even going to attempt it at this point. They're doing it really well, but it just sucks to come in mid-story and then try to catch up.

On a similar note, If I have to follow 3 twitter accounts, two blogs and 4 youTube streams to get your story AND I have to check them everyday I'll stop following you. Because I unfortunately don't have time to sit online 20 hours a day and keep up with it. Sad but true. Sad

 		Just read through this thread - thank you all.

I'm working on the barebones of an ARG idea (not Slender, actually, but the other's really haven't seen much more than Marble Hornets, so we can say it's Slender-inspired) and this advice has almost all been really useful.

(the directly slender-related advice less so, but still pretty good. We still haven't figured out our antagonist yet.)

So, put simply, thank you! This will help a lot.

 		I want to see less of something that EMH has done: too much of a good thing.
Sure, extra twitters/tumblers/accounts make the series more interesting, but it just makes things too complicated, convoluted, and harder to follow for me to maintain interest in. Too much of a good thing turns itself toxic.

Honestly, I just come back to it every month or so and check the wiki/news thread or just check the actual game sites. I never bother with the discussion thread though. If you're gone for a month, come back and there's another 400 pages of discussion, you know immediately it's not worthwhile discussion.

 		They definitely tread the line of "too complex" if they add any more. Many args may use multiple sites, but generally only on a temporary basis, so EMH seems fairly unique to me.

Fortunately, it's not so bad in my opinion. Damsel's blog has ceased to be for now, as has her twitter. Seems like at any one time there's only 2 Twitter accounts and 2 Youtube accounts you really need to concern yourself with, so I'm managing. I am disappointed by how much pointless chatter is going on about the series though, since discussion is the best aspect of these things but I am not reading 20-50 pages per day of chatter to keep up, since I can guarantee most of that will be crap.

Also I'm sad I didn't get into the tournament :@

I think they need to at EMH get back to the fucking basics and stop trying to create the Lord of The Rings With SlenderMan type storyline.

It is amazing where it is at. It's actually has immersion, like an ARG should.

Cloverfield was more complicated than EMH, yet a lot of people followed it.
