Consider the following:


I have a sandwich. The sandwich has bread.

These are related, sure. But it's fucking stupid. We already know the sandwich has bread. Or in the event that the sandwich did not have bread, we were at least smart enough to infer it SHOULD have bread.

We already know four people were eliminated. HABIT doesn't make a lolhabitlol out of reiterating himself. Because he's NEVER done it before.

I have a sandwich. It has lettuce.

This, albeit archaic, is actually a useful piece of information. It is informing you of that which you were not aware of; There's no way to know if my sandwich had lettuce or not. But you automatically ASSUME it has bread, unaware of the other contents, because that's what a sandwich is; food between bread. But now, with the second piece of information, you have a more complete picture. Whereas, with "Sandwich, bread," you just have a redundancy.

If the "four people eliminated" are Ryan and 151-153, well, fuck. Why even mention it? We already know.

HOWEVER, if the "Four people eliminated" are other people all together, we have

....

I don't quite get why everyone is trying to parse out the meaning of HABIT's elimination tweet. If people were eliminated after this round, I'm sure we'll hear about it, either from HABIT or the hapless victims themselves.

Well, put yourself in my situation. I've got a helluva hectic schedule now what with a 15 month old and a newborn and my hotmail account has a habit of throwing a bitch fit occasionally meaning I can't get onto it. At least with the twitter updates I can see what's been happening still. I think it's just HABITS way of showing those who aren't in the tournament what's happening.
