Purple tape would be fitting. I dont know if anyone took the time to look up the meanings or representations of the color.

It represents sorrow, and mourning.
Althought the most beffiting descrition is sacrifice.
Also, pruple is the color most often used in Lent.
In lent you willing give something up.


The rabbits are willing sacrificing what they love.

 		It's funny you guys mention the purple duct tape; I already had some, since I made a dress out of it for my art project, so I made a purple flower out of it and put it at the makeshift tombstone when I was filming.

I would offer to make some for the rest of you, but I am incredibly lazy and don't know where you live.

Lol, maybe that HABIT is king of us all and that we are his pawns.

I just wondered if anyone had taken the time to find the meaning behind it since it is constantly re occuring. It's been used to cover Evans mouth. And then in one of the hidden videos it's been used to hold bandages onto wounds that are on Evans Neck and then another persons arm. It's sttod out very prominently. So I figure that there must be a reason.

 		So I just watched the latest vid....The Update Hub.

So basically they're telling us to show them everything that they can't see or just stuff that such as boxes,letters,packages,etc.?

Did Anyone catch this wierd dialogue at the end?

Jeff:Evan got a computer.
Evan: I got a computer.

Are they trying to tell us something? Evan does the HABIT thing when Jeff and Vince are not looking?

I'm not sure if there's any significance to the color, other than the fact that purple stands out and purple duct tape, particularly, is memorable. It's more of a "PAY ATTENTION" thing than anything else, imo. Although people with their mouths taped shut obviously means something significant. I've guessed that it means the person knows something that they can't/won't share with others. Evan had it in the Ustream, and Jeff had it when the guys went over to his house after he went missing.

I'm guessing that Vince won't have duct tape over his mouth because duct tape + beard = bad times.

I think just boxes and letters etc. They've made it abundantly clear that they can't see the "hidden" videos now matter how many times we link them. It's not really for the guys, it's for the people who (justifiably) are complaining that it's hard to find all that stuff.

They have had a bit going on, lately. Rolling Eyes

And it's more them trying to create a resource for all involved-- themselves and those of us watching-- to find everything that's scattered across the intertubes. IMO, said resource already exists, in the form of the wiki, but I can understand wanting to have links to things all in one place that they control.

On a related note, I haven't gotten a reply to my e-mail yet, but I imagine it'll be a while before I hear back. The boys are fairly busy, after all.

 		I would just like to point out, that in some areas of the world, and in some myths, writings, silly horoscope things and such...

the color purple is usually tied to dreams, illusions, fantasy, and things of that nature...

of course that really does not explain what the purple tape is suppose to represent.
