I wonder if they will actually use the phones? It seems a little arbitrary since the phones have had no actual role since they were collected.
Then why spend hundreds of dollars to keep the phones activated. That's what's happened since the first collection. We were also told to keep the phones charged, just in case... No, the phones will be used.
My thinking is that they originally were going to use them in the course of the arg but either didn't need to or found something better but wanted to keep them ready in the event they needed the players to spread the word about something (such as if a puzzle still wasn't found).
But either way we will find out next week.

In the same vein as shaved_ape, 42E, if you need an op in Charlotte you have your program! My username on FL.com is also velocity and all my contact info is correct. Also willing to be a back-up Raleigh or Atlanta op. I don't want my only event to have involved running through San Diego dressed as Madame de Pompadour!

I accidentally deleted my photo at the poster (not that it was good) but when they were filming at the drop point they interviewed me and my friends. And I know a handful of fellow ARGers can vouch for me since we were in a foot race to the drop point. And I beat them in my heels to get the last baggie. >D
I only have one pic of me in that costume, but this was me: http://i56.tinypic.com/2ci92ti.jpg
I changed into a Corvette sundress and black jacket before going to the EOLC though. Pannier + crowded club = bad idea.

Hey I don't have a phone, but 42E if you are needing someone in Dallas, ME and MasterLuke are your guys.
Between the two of us we can get done whatever you need.
My FL login is the same as my screen name but without the underscore.
shavedape, whatever masterlukes is, we can TOTALLY be your ops in Dallas.
Come on!
While people are requesting phones, I might as well put in a NW Arkansas request. Willing to drive 2 hours at the most

You know.... I'll third that request.
Riverside, CA (well Norco, CA) - can get to Los Angeles, San Diego, San Bernardino easily.
I suppose it can't hurt to ask
My screen name is also my FL account.

Toronto operative'd better be up and active next week... if TO's included in the book tour, I'll be there, and would love to meet up with him.
Then keep ranting about how I should have had the phone being one flight of stairs above and seconds away from the arcade at union station but running outside to look for an arcade by its address only to find the arcade inside 30 seconds after he ran away with it
*cough*
anyway...

For an Endgame.... wouldn't just involving the people with phones would seem a bit lame to those people like myself who are not in a area thatcouldn't be involved with the phone portion of the campaign? I would think Disney or 42 Entertainment would want to get everyone involved that participated in this awesome ARG.
Not that I don't think it's not cool you guys got that awesome phone and swag..(insert jealousy here)
Just thought the rest of the poplulation would get a crack at it too or get something out of it

The Phoenix phone has been on my person just about 24/7, and everyone at work already knows at a drop of a hat I may leave for the game
I work in south Scottsdale, so hope it happens during business hours-makes it easier.

I hope the Portland phone holder is on here, I'd rather not go on some sort of crazy adventure to find them.

I think the majority of people who have phones are on (or lurking) this site... I just hope that they all respond to this thread so we can go full force next week.
