i realize it's impossible for me to say anything that isn't trout, but i'll give it another go, because i have some wild speculation that i don't entirely buy into but that i think is worth mentioning.

so in the latest email, SP shouts: "Tell her not to look! Make her not see me, you dumb bug!"

this made me think about the verious mirrors and reflections in the stories. something that has always tugged at me is that when SP climbs up the double helix staircase into the tower, she sees the queen has hung a mirror. when she looks in the mirror, what does she see? The Sleeping Princess.

so the Operator is made of sand in her early dreams during repair. well, silicon is made of sand, sure. but what else is made of sand? glass, and glass coffins.

the idea that we can call out to SP when Melissa is breaking down also somewhat suggests they might be part of the same entity.

taking this a couple steps further and i'm almost ready to try shouting Yasmine when the Operator breaks down.

A most interesting idea, schizophrenia. It kind of makes sense, remind me a tad of the split of the Godhead from the book "The Divine Invasion" by phillip K. Dick. (fantastic author by the way, you will want to find some of his other works ...

Other clues towards that hypothesis:

given in the sound files, the turn away from the mirror, cannot see. Canoot see her oter self reflected in there?

In the case of multiple personalities, the other personalities would be sleeping when the dominant personality is in force. Hence, "thje sleeping princess"

I am thinking also that the glass coffin may be more of a dead end in thinking. I think it to be a direct reference to Snow White, aka the Sleeping Princess. Remember how she would talk in fairy tales? The name is an expression.

And am beginning to think right now the same of the Pious Flea. this would be the more logical side of the personality. Sort of the reptilian cortex, as it were. Its language is quite primitive compared to the communication skills of SP and Melissa.

And so this trinity, their personalities tend ot make a sense there.

Melissa: the id. Quite Machiavellian, without restraints or remorse, agression is a main trait here.

Pious Flea: I would peg as the Superego. It seems to be the link and what stands in the way from SP and Melissa.

Sleeping Princess: Ego, the "I" out of all of this.


Somewhere, Iforgot who mentioned that possibly saying the name during the phases when Meliisa breaks up with the "I Love Bees" talk, that mnight be the key to her most vulnerable spot., when we can switch out the various facets.

I was talking to some of the beekeepers over the bungie forums, and this is a pretty accepted idea over there. They think that the SP, PF, Melissa, and Durga are all the same being only fragmented. Melissa is the "brain" so she's got the memories. Durga is melissa uncorrupted but lacking a brain.

Durga is the combination of all those protocal working normally in one unified entity... but with errors, errors such as lack of memory and reflection. They think durga is the supreme enitity because of what her name means. Durga s like all th egods put together in some mythology, so they think that she's the supreme being.

They also think that Durga is the spdr, but not the same one that melissa deleted. If you go to google and type in spdr you get spdr: A software robot that serves a search engine by exploring the net, collecting web page addresses and page contents.

One of the first things Durga says when she she wakes up on Jersey's computer is that she "like to find things." They have some convincing evidence for this, but I'm not really sure. What do ya'll think?

Some evidence to back it up, if someone needs it - slightly different, but the same conclusions.

Durga begins her appearance by waking up. Wake up. Stay awake. Isn't it exactly what Melissa did first?
At the same time, Durga likes to find things, right? To find, to find out, to tell... Seek, behold, reveal... Whose motto is this?
Also, Durga refers to herself as a "girl". Melissa never referred to herself like that, but... the Princess did!
Durga has no memory, and neither does Melissa nor the Princess. The Princess doesn't remember even her name, and neither does Durga.

Hence, my guess is that they are most likely parts of the same entity, different aspects, somehow split along uneven lines. The Flea would be the "sanity check", trying to merge (!grope, cmd proc) with the other entities and bring them together to reveal the "truth". However, things have become complicated as the two main consciousness shards - the Queen/Melissa and the Princess - have turned against each other.

Now then, a question to the psychologists out there. How does one go about merging multiple personalities?..

At presen,t the Flea DOES seem to stand in the way and is attempting to link them both up. But methinks there is something all around in this hypothesis to work with. Methinks Mann_Alive has someting.

(I may be confused a tad in their roles which may become clearer as it goes but thats because I am an arcade game designer/programmer in real life, not a psychologist
