 		Okay, as an admin and first member of Slender Nation, let me start off by saying that what is said in our forums by individual members, regardless of 'rank', does not reflect the views of our entire community. It is extremely biased of anyone here, or in any forum, to assume that Slender Nation is composed of "people who think way too highly of themselves and just seem very cynical and annoyed at both everything we do here (unforum)." This is absolutely untrue on all accounts; infact, the direction this thread has taken only emphasizes the irony of that comment. It saddens me deeply, as a member of both Slender Nation and Unfiction, to see this kind of bullshit dragging on for what is now turning into weeks. What was a minor catastrophe to certain members of both forums has died down; despite this, various flaming (specifically geared toward Slender Nation as a whole) has been occuring on both forums. What those individuals responsible here and elswhere need to do is chill out and stop trying to raise all hell, or you will have it. Good day.

Hey, I'm sorry, man. It just has a very conservative vibe to it over there. Saying that EVERYONE there is a pretentious douche was too harsh of me, I will admit. I just got the overall impression that a person such as myself would not generally be well-accepted over there; it seems way too serious, whereas around here people seem a bit more at ease.

Conservative vibe? I assume you went directly to the flame wars section, specifically the threads regarding this incident, and are basing your impression on the comments said by X amount of members alone. You fail to recognize our ever-growing community is made up people with a multitude of opinions; no 'offical' standpoint on anything has been asserted by anyone. If certain members are being too blunt or opinionated for you to handle then you're probably right about not being well-accepted. You're free to join, however, as I'm sure you'll find your experience much different than what you and others in this thread have concieved it would be like.
