Hey guys...what if [redacted] is Ryan?

I mean HABIT had to have a reason for killing him, but why?

Then again, I AM NOT ONE TO SLASH, might suggest it be a girl.

The typos in Corenthal's letters really bug me. They're either in there for authenticity's sake, or there's a puzzle there...

I thought it was authenticity with the others because of his mental state, but this letter is a happy one and is still riddled with typos. I'm leaning towards puzzle of sorts.

Hmm. Vince seems to think the letters are fake. Perhaps the typos are meant to suggest that they weren't actually written by an educated man like Corenthal, which would be evidence that they are forgeries. But to what purpose? Perhaps the story they tell is an analogy for the HYBRIDs' "real" situation.

Alternately, it could be a sign that the letters have been transcribed (either in a hurry or by someone with bad spelling) for some purpose, and these aren't the originals. But why would someone make a transcription like that when they could just photocopy the originals? Perhaps the letters being sent out are actually modified in some way - leaving out details, putting fake details in, that sort of thing - and when we or the boys find the originals they'll tell a very different story. By this theory the typos may be meant to be a clue that a particular part of the text has been tampered with.

I'm only seeing two typos: "sings" for "signs" and "eachother" instead of "each other". What am I missing?

Okay, riddled wasn't the right word. But I think that's it.

All of the "errors" complied into one sentence.

And those mistakes are from all the letters? (How many typos did the first one have, then??)

How are "devastated" and "commit" errors?

(That does seem to make a perverse sort of sense, though. Maybe Corenthal went under cover as Robert Smith during the 80s?)

Tossed the text in Word to see what kinds of oddities it would pick up.

That's only from that letter.

Commit should be Committed, and devastated is out of place, according to word.

That's actually really interesting. And now my mind's going crazy. What if the letters/reports that Jeff found are the actual ones (or at least one copy of them) and that's why they had to be destroyed?

Eachother's such a common mispelling I personally wouldn't count it.
