it gets better when you find out that song (and the rest from that concert) is from a reinterpretation of "carmina burana." they also have an "o fortuna" and it's fuckin' amazing. my friend and i once blared that on portable speakers as we drove a golf cart around the campground where my family likes to play in the summer.

yuss. stolen babies makes me happy. it's like what the inside of my head sounds like. O.o

oh, and if more....experimental music is your thing, check out sxip shirey. he makes music with found objects (pennywhistles, marbles in glass bowls, bicycle bells, etc.). and he has amazing hair. O.o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmzKNmAfeOI (the rest of his music is not quite like this, but i love this song.)

Well, since it's music time...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvwENwSBeX4

Link to a YouTube video + lyrics for a song by Blind Guardian called "Ride into Obsession." I saw them in concert on Monday (EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!) and have been listening to their stuff all week. This song reminds me a bit of HABIT...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's violent, arrogant, aggressive... and the lyrics about being reborn and "let ages come and go" feed into my pet theory that HABIT, if not the rest of the cast, have been doing this battle against each other and Slenderman and the Rake for generations. To me it sounds a bit like HABIT taunting Evan (and perhaps the rest of the guys) from inside Evan's head.

It could be worse. One of my best friends now has to hump a moose, because she made a bet with one of our nerdiest friends that he would not lose his virginity before we graduated.

AND FOR MUSIC, I AM RECOMMENDING THE FASHION.
Because they're so damn catchy.

Is that a Tom Green stunt? None of us are fans of him. Haha. I think it was more to do with how everyone fell in love with the tiny stuffed moose I brought home with me from Canada.

Yes.

Well. I'm alarmed that my friend shares a thought process with Tom Green.

Spent the last hour or so explaining EMH and HABITS trails to my mum.

Her response?

"This shit looks scarier than that Marble Hornets stuff you showed me. Oh and don't die, I still need to claim you on my reports."

I feel the love. D:

I had to give a brief explanation as to why my mom's shovel was in my bedroom.
Her exact response: "That's stupid."

When I first told my mom about EMH the first thing she said was, "Did you give them our home address?" because she's super paranoid that I'm giving out our address and credit card numbers and social security numbers to anyone who comes my way.

This was right after the wristband thing. I told her no. >.>

LIAR.

I was too late for that bit. *sniff* I would've gladly forfeited my home address, telephone number, and passwords.

But, yeah. I'm too terrified to tell my mom what I'm burying. Not that she'd miss it or anything, 'cause I don't know if she even knows that I still have it... But if she knew... she'd kick my ass.
