Jane;

Good take! When I first saw the kneeling person's reflection, I flashed on a stylized creature/monster.

Or a Rorschach test for all of us to waste yime on. Wink

Hey guys, been awhile since I've posted on here. . .

I just wanted to throw my two cents in here, because I know a little bit about web stuffs and whatnot. Josh's blog was supposedly hosted on wordpress, and the way wordpress works is that it's basically installed, and then you use their web interface to make post updates. So there's really no uploading of anything to make new posts. This makes me think that whatever this new development is, is definitely intentional. It's something we have to crack, either the weird images point to a new website, or we're supposed to follow the ftp instructions that they've left us.

The only way that wordpress would mess up was if he tried to update it, and even that wouldn't take the whole site down, it would just give you an error generated from the wordpress code, or display the site incorrectly. So. . . any ideas on this image?
(also, LOL Jane, that was brilliant. :] )

Edit: Ok, so I'm definitely wrong on this. . . Secureserver is Godaddy's web hosting platform. They don't have a website because Secureserver was bought out by Godaddy and now everything is done through Godaddy's website.

If you're hosting on Godaddy and mess up your site. . .this page pops up.

Looks like someone goofed and they haven't fixed it yet.

While we are waiting for the HLM site to return, i'm curious as to the timing shown by Josh's posts.
The latest update was posted somewhere around 4-5pm Pacific time yesterday DEC 3rd.. If Josh is in the eastern USA, that would be ariound 7-8pm there.. yet the header states the post was written on Dec 3rd but published on Dec 4th.. the only way this could be is if Josh were in England or somewhere the time is 8 hrs ahead..since it was still Dec 3rd here in the USA.
A small but strange inconsistency..

Exactly, that's why I queried you about when you had posted your comment. This posting date seems to have come up once before and there was comments on just what it might indicate.

Still, a mystery, though... Rolling Eyes

I don't think the crash is IG. May be a mistake by the person running the site. I checked the source code and found..

Yes it is the weekend, But..

I must say they PM / AGRM's etc do know its down.. I really don't think they would be that careless.. well i'll say I HOPE they would not be so careless.

And if they expect this game to be efficient they would not mislead us...

Unless the are stalling, we did kinda make a thread about disapointment thus far Surprised

When I upload a webpage it posts immediately and if there are errors you see it because it takes you to your page you are uploading. (without getting too technical)

Anyways too much thought into this.. I call it a stall.

Jane

OK - I'm already tired of twiddling my thumbs. Whether the HLM stall is intentional or not, I couldn't express my feelings any better than this.

Maybe Josh was found and "erased" as an IG twist. Mystery Man warned him that was easy to spot and that he should be more careful. Too bad for the new players though...

Josh bagged and tagged?

smartart;

If this is suddenly the end of Josh, there would be so many loose ends that it would be (for me) a dessert let down.

What will become of the pill-box hat (with monkey brooch) and all of the rest of the craigslist ad items; the (stinkin') badges, and all the other goodies? [PMs may contact me at my e-mail address for shipping instructions--I don't mind Mysterio being after my hide!]

No, I can still post on that wall no problem. To be honest, this ARG is fucked. Some much stuff will never make sense in the long run. Maybe they're going to end all the sites and retcon them into something that makes more sense. hooklineand...finker Razz

Yeah, I can post on the Wall, too. But I can't see "Just Others."

And, ... If you goto "Pictures" and try to add new ones, it just sends you back to your home page.

Yep. It would be like saying wake up silly ARGers -- you were all just having one big collective meaningless dream.

That's the default page for GoDaddy Linux hosting.

I'd like to think that if it is a cock-up on their end they'd have fixed it pretty quickly (i.e. before now). I want to believe that this is IG but I don't know if I do or not...
