11 is my life path number in numerology. It's a very spiritual number. Awakening I think? I don't know, it's considered a master number that is very highly energized. I see the number 11 all over the place in my life due to my life path number (even before I knew it was my life path) so I like that number.

I see 11 all over the place, but I hate it. It's like it's stalking me.

Thinking about the lines on the envelope: has anyone (besides me) wondered why HABIT seems to be posting all his trial related info at 11? Either 11pm, or 11am has been either the publish time, or the deadline for each stage so far. Given his obsession with 7s normally I would have assumed it would be 7... but we get 11.

So, could these lines be an 11?

What do you think the significance of the 11's could be?

It's possible that something significant happened to HABIT at an 11. Slender Man came to town November 11 (11/11), Dr. Corenthal gave up on him at 11 AM. It obviously has personal significance to HABIT at any rate.

Hey,

This is just a Hybrid fan saying 'hey'. But I was wondering, what made you sign up for the trials? Its starting to look like we all have a death wish. Obviously, I'm not telling you what to do (that would be stupid). Just curious about your logic.

Saevitia (from UF)

So he DID deliberately enter himself...

Possible, but unlikely. Doubles of any kind haven't been mentioned before, have they?

I think that whole thing sounds odd. Alex is in it to win it despite knowing that someone died because of it and despite the fact that he was told not to enter because people thought it might be dangerous. I dunno, he sounds like off to me.

A note on the letter:

"prod Jeffery and Vincent into practical jokes and obvious conversational traps". The first part is in keeping with what we learned way back in ..., where Vinny says that they're kings of practical jokes, but is the second part perhaps a sly reference to the Jonsclub emails?

I took that quote to be a bit more threatening and not Jonclubs-related. Like it might have been some sort of foreshadowing that Evan and [redacted] will eventually lead Jeff and Vincent into a "trap" of some sort. Evan's obviously shown to be unhinged, so whoever [redacted] is might be a threat. That's just my interpretation, anyway.

It did seem very flippant to me. Like he wasn't taking it seriously...

I'd agree. From his video, he didn't even follow all the instructions. For someone who wants to win, that's weird.

Didn't the guy from the original Rake story get so traumatized by the experience that he drove his car into a lake to get away from it all?

No, his daughter was attacked by The Rake and he accidentally drove the car into a lake trying to get her to a hospital. She survived, he didn't.

Yeah that seems like a slightly odd reply. Even if he had done it all correctly.
Let's be honest, what the feck are we even attempting to win?
