so are people going to start by saying "Sleeping Princess" when Melissa starts jabbering about loving bees?

If that doesn't work, are we going to start other names wr might have for her... like?

That's my plan. Any suggestions as to what to try?
Princess or Sleeping Princess are the obvious ones, since she doesn't know her name.

All I know and what keeps popping into my head is when the SP stated REALLY early on that she could make a protective program or something (I forget the actual wording) to keep Dana safe. Now, the issue remains, with the SP gone, what new dangers await Dana... (ESPECIALLY since Melissa's #1 threat is gone, and that she's transmitting the "truth" anyway, that really makes Dana the next in line for a whuppin, right?)

Yes. Yes it does.

Hey, not rain on the parade, but this thread makes #5 for coordinating some part of freeing SP.

Don't forget there's a chance of more hidden text puzzles on Tuesday. The Princess could be hiding in there.

I've just finished work on a MS Access database that will take corrupted files and original files and store the hidden text from each file, then export a list for posting here. I'd better not have done all that for no reason!

i've been away all weekend, and didn't even get the email on friday afternoon Sad superjems, thanks for the list of threads, they actually helped me sort out what's going on, so many new posts!

as one of her Royal Knights, i'll do anything i can to help out the SP, but-

the whole saying her name in the phone "when she breaks down" thing, maybe its the "crewmember" players who have Melissa calling their personal phones who are supposed to call out the SP, not the regular payphone players (i looked, but.... couldn't find an exact reference to that, and couldn't come up with a decent set of search terms, did that come up yet?)

Keeper of Sajuuk(not really. I'm just some poor failure who managed to miss an axon because he slept too late): Starblade reporting!

Maybe there is a link in the honey page, on one of the Flea's mantras?

It's that, or saying the Princess's name when Melissa is saying 'I love bees'.

[metarant]To anyone debating thevalue of this thread, I just want to say that I had written that I would be posting this thread on Friday... Not that it gives me any special status or claims or anything, but just to make it clear that I had established on Friday, that I would be creating a new topic on Monday as a rally point for the SPARMY. I know y'all are doing the right thing keeping things nice and neat in the forums, and I really do appreciate that, but at the same time, this is unique in the way that it's almost a town-hall format as opposed to a linear thread style... (does that make sense?)

Anyway, if this needs to be locked, so be it... I am not in charge of that... but I think that come tomorrow, it will be good to have this thread exist, specifically for its format, content and as an alternative specifically to whatever thread pops up or bumps concerning the "crew"... [/metarant]

For some reason, perhaps because I ran across it elsewhere, the word LISP popped into my head this afternoon.

So I Googled it (after searching the forums and coming up empty)

Turns out, LISP is a programming language used for AI. Any coders want to take THAT for a spin?

Ok, back to the topic at hand... I have a suggestion...

We need a 5th columnist... we need a spy. Our understanding is that either (1) the vile queen will continue recruiting or (2) not.

So, if #1 holds true, it's potentially possible that we could have one of "ours" pick up the phone, and get on the "inside"...

What do you think, SPARMITES?

ack! LISP stands for LISt Processor (bad word combination really)
among those who've used it, it stands for:
Lots of Iritating Single/Stupid Parenthesis

its a weird language, in that an array, a command, and a variable are all the same thing, all chained together as a long list of parenthesized lines, its good for AI, in that the program can generate its own commands as arrays, then execute them, in essence it can "program itself"

its a very difficult language to work in though, and kind of obscure... i don't really see the PM's using it... but you never know

i really think we do, if we're to "call out" her name... it wont be with the static non-interactive payphone recordings... we need someone taking a live call on their personal phone to do it

"A General Theory" At your service sir, I think and co-ordinate attacks if we need to. I'll also try and help with puzzles that may need to be solved to get the SP back.

Ok, so let's recap our actions and make the most of our abilities and specialties:

Nightmare Tony and I have both sent messages to the SP via light coding.

We've got Aspmaster and certainly others trying to use the flea to our benefit, via emailing "flea-speak"

What else do we have in our arsenal, people?

HitsHerMark the... *sigh* Beer Wench (1st Class)

I sent the P Flea an email in my best "flea speak" letting him know which axon(s) I was going to be at to !hndshk and !behold any transmitions that might be sent.

When comunitcating with the flea, I'd have some sort of Flea/Englsih Dicionary in case he speaks like he writes on ilovebees.com.
