I just got the same email (the one with the swan attachment), and the email is sent to spellingwitchSPLAThotmail.com. I added that email to my msn messenger, and someone responded by the nickname "Kat"... I hope she's not one of us?

I also never received the ecard or the Ariel picture. is it just livejournal being crappy?

The general consensus at this point is that Ewan is NOT directly connected to CTW, trinity. The mention of Klepsydra is clearly meant to "draw in" players of that game, or at least to pique their curiosity, but so far we haven't seen any relationship more direct than that which tends to integrate Ewan into the CTW game.

Remember: Ewan, and the other characters such as mu_nin and the Red Queen, who appear to be revolving around him in his hermetically-unsealed little universe, have also dropped the occasional reference to urban exploration (i.e. Lockjaw) and various Beast-related ephemera (such as the references to boats, which appear to point in the general direction of Cloudmaker), but it's not like he's a "character" in any of those universes either.

I've put some idle spec on there about our Mneme's pictures. Players of timehunt will remember that Ariel is also a moon; the swan picture could put us in mind of Leda (nymph who had sex with a swan (who was really Zeus)). Leda is also a moon. And then we had Callisto earlier...

Has anyone mentioned yet that Ewan is leaving town today?
