It may be a gradual event. The last live event was activated gradually over the span of several hours.

Things might START at 11am East Coast, but that's 8am West Coast. I doubt they expect people to be up and about at that hour. And that's not considering overseas events (if any).

Well, looks like there's no way I'm going to be getting in on this. There's a drop in Salt Lake City, but because it's during the week I have a two hour drive to get up there.

First come, first serve doesn't help me when I go to school two hours away during the week. Crying or Very sad

Let me start by saying that I had to work and couldn't be part of the RL activities.
One thing that has me confused about the drop activities in all locations for this and Gridlock Rendezvous was the change of venue after the initial contact was made.
How did folks feel about that, in general and why do you think they did it that way? Possibly for the safety of the first responders (lessons learned from previous events?). It just seems like there were a lot of folks who were seconds or minutes too late and who had to rely on either the first responders coming back after it was all over or their online support to tell them they were too late. After it all shakes out, I can't say that in future events (if there were one near me) I'd be more inclined to try to be first on the scene. SDCC seemed to go better since there were at least a few items to be had at each location. Kudos to the fast End Game folks in some cities tried to make it a better experience for as many people as possible by sharing the spoils.
