It could just be a private screening for Blizzard, they do special movie events at the Spectrum on a pretty regular basis.

LA peeps - might not be significant to the events today, but heard a rumor that there is a screening of a certain movie tonight in Irvine. Have no idea if this ties into today's events, but heads up just in case...

So you think this might lead everyone to a screening 3 days before the LA premier?

I think that's the http://www.3dshave.com/tron/ screening. It was on the 12th in Irvine.

They're doing it in Irvine? God I hate it when places say LA but the reality is they are in OC (Such as the Los Angeles Angels). I would have signed up for it then.

Yeah, someone on my Facebook list was bragging in a post this morning about an early screening and wanted to share since there are a few Tron related things going on right now.

Yeah, I tried to get tickets to the screening last week but then I saw it was in Irvine at 7 on a "first come first served" basis. Meaning, I'd have to drive down from L.A. crazy early in traffic. No thanks!

Whoever is running the twitter for the LA group, there is more new stuff on the discussion forum than just the top post about the digitalpulse page. Read the next two threads.

Thinking if they are going East->West across the states + 2 cities per hour it puts our start @4:00pm

Yeah, I think I may pass unless they are going to place it in "LA", by which I mean northern OC. Too bad it's a single drop, I totally would have gone if it were an event.

Yeah, I'm going to end up passing too. I'd love the one of a kind (er, 16 of a kind) event badge, but I could care less about the book and already have 2 Flynn Lives shirts. So, just crossing my finger that
A: We all get those pins.
B: I can get a pass to a screening.

Not necessarily: there are multiple cities in the Pacific time zone on the list. For example, they could release Los Angeles and Portland at 3:00 p.m., and San Francisco and Seattle at 4:00 p.m.

Edit: And of course I mean 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively. Embarassed

At earliest, we're looking at 2PM, probably 3PM.
