A tip about a new blog Someone, who will remain anonymous unless they choose otherwise, told me of a blog. It's... alright, but I figured I'd do my "informant" the honor of making a topic about it. If it is a SlenderBlog, I spot a major flaw right off the bat. The "locust" appeared before the writer even knew about Slenderman, as far as I can tell. Might be worth a read though, just to see what's going on.
EDIT: I always forget the links! http://musicaloccurences.blogspot.com

However, there is NO link to this blog. So why did you post about it?
And if you are going to make a new topic, PLEASE label it appropriately.
Thanks.

Twice in one night? Are you sure that's absolutely necessary?

First was my own finding. Second was someone telling me about a blog who was afraid to post it themselves. So technically it's only once.

He now seems to have a Twitter too. It's a bit forced, but this could be cool.

Somehow my Willing Suspension of Disbelief falls shy of the police wanting a Twitter account. It does indeed feel forced, but many authors do improve over time, so... Watch and wait, I guess...

Lol apparently his suspension of disbelief is being pushed too. XD

This is absolutely ridiculous. How the hell are 160 letters going to help me find my brother? Police are incompetent and worthless.

Ah, that's the best laugh I've had all day! Maybe someone else told them to get a Twitter account or they figured they'd get one, then wondered why they did?

Sorry, what? I don't get that.

Ah, sorry. I tend to let my thoughts spill out sometimes. I'll attempt to clarify.
Perhaps someone who's friends with the author told them they should have a Twitter account, like many other people do, or the author themselves decided to get one. But either way, the author seems to be thinking "Why did I even bother with this short message crap?"

He specifically says in the latest blog post that the police told him to make the Twitter account.
It'd be funny if his local police department are actually completely aware of Slendy's MO and are using this to draw him out. ("Hmm, so the brother has a blog, huh? Get him to make a Twitter account too. This perp won't be able to resist that.")
Pretty goofy, but it might take an interesting turn if once they confirm that it is Slendy, they wash their hands of the situation and walk away, knowing that there's nothing they can do to help. ("Look, kid, you've got the makings of a good cop, but trust me on this one. In these matters, we declare the case unsolved, go home, and we forget that these people ever existed - not even 911 are gonna answer their calls now. Trust me, it's better this way - intervening in this kind of situation only gets good cops killed. This man... he's going to take what he wants to take. And nobody can stop that.")

The police told the character to get a blog. But the author can make up their own mind.
