Way to go Bruceoite. I was actually texting someone else who came in right behind him. First and a second place.... not bad!

Nice! Congrats to Chicago people out there braving the bitter cold to help the cause! Cheers!
Meanwhile, back on the Digital Pulse page, looks like each city's activation is slowly chipping away at a change in the signal box at the top right... it's gonna be a long day I think..

No kidding! They should have given away a Flynn Lives sweater instead of a t-shirt. Lord knows we need it... the weather is just bitter.

It's already been a long day, hasn't it? lol. But it's worth it
I'm torn between mental image of Chicago peeps skipping hand in hand (way to go with the cooperation/organization!), and kidney punching other people to get to the sticker first. Hah.
Either way, I hope I get to high-five everyone involved. If I was there, I'd hand them a blanket and some cocoa first though, otherwise a finger might snap off...

Supposed to get worse this weekend too, down to 6° by Sunday night!

My traditional way of warming up when it's absolutely freezing in the city is stopping in Starbucks or Corner Bakery.
(And surprisingly, it's a little worse here in Iowa... supposed to hit -10 this weekend. Shoot me.)
