Oh, I see, so because we don't constantly post or join the Unforum that means we're rats?

Lurkers can't play an ARG? That's real nice.

Just as long as they play nice with the other ARGers, dude. Totally not cool when they just get theirs and leave everyone else empty.

...Right, so because a person (the new york guy in particular) has a faster means of solving the puzzle, AND didn't know about the Unforums until his friend, who posts here as a GUEST told him about the forums, that means he's a "rat" or a "dip-sh*t" as someone on here typed.

Not every ARG-er has heard of Unfiction, so don't think that they're "Lurkers", maybe they don't know that there's a community dedicated to this type of game.

You forgot douchebag too. But I agree with you. There's more than unforums and unfictioneers out there. I hate that the NY guy got dragged through the mud over this. Hell, If I was in a mob in SD, I'd probably run. It's a race for a prize right. That book ain't getting split up 20 ways!!

tyler1451, you are missing the point.
Whether you are on the forums or not anyone playing FL knows that they aren't the only ones playing.
I didn't know about these forums until a month ago but I've been playing for the last 18 months.
It is immature to just run away from the others instead of choosing to share the information so that everyone can participate and feel like they didn't waste the last 6 hours. Is that an unreasonable request?

Why so serious?

It's the first drop called, he's full of adrenaline, he got the call, he doesn't know how quickly he has to be there, and since (unlike Bruce) he has no prior experience, he would have likely tried to solve it as fast as he could.

It was a heat-of-the-moment thing.

Ok, New York is done and over with. The guy did what he thought he was supposed to, get the package first. Just let it go, everyone, and enjoy the rest of this ARG.

The guy in NYC was supposed to go and meet up with some guys at a Cafe with his friend and share the stuff. As far as I know, that happened, unless they never actually showed up.

I'm confused as to why people are still complaining. Yeah, it was crappy for the people, but I don't think it was meant for ill feeling, and if the guy did go to meet up with others afterwards, then he's trying to make the effort, so kudos to them.

More importantly, if you weren't actually there, why are you so angry?

Yeah and seeing as to how upset people seemed over it I just wanted the SF team to be cool about it because it's just a game.

Can we end this ridiculous thread and play the game? Nobody else wants to have to read my posts.

Found by FlynnLives.com SkyCycle!!

We got it kids. Found at 2:13 PM PST!! Had a Ground Operative right across the street. Was on the railing surrounding Halliday Plaza. More pics to come!

2:57PM EDIT: I just won the FLYNN LIVES TShirt from the Package Raffle!

Also! The Voice on the Phone from Dumont took ALL OF THE FLYNNLIVES.COM members screen names at the Find. I wonder what for? Did any of the other cities do that?

Hopefully we get the Achievement Badge on the website??

Checking in from the Coffee Bean on Market and 4th. We've got a team of about 16 here after a successful solve!

It only took a minute or so since the solution was already widespread. Looks like everyone is sticking around to see if anything happens once LA and Seattle find theirs.

We got some good video of skycycle entering the code, I'm sure it'll be posted later.
