congrats!

Pity I couldn't get there in time, sounds like it was a blast. But I *was* right about it being near the 16th street mall. Shame I was just on the wrong side XD

Greets all...

Okay, here how it went down earlier today. First off I am stunned that I got this. Wowzers.

So I get to my usual scouting location, but finding out it wasn't for 1pm. Damn them. I wait. Drove around Lodo and came back to my scouting location and waited for my coords. I had my GPS ready...Coords come in. Wait... what the hell? I'm already HERE? I get a phone call.. told me what the pic was. I look at the lamp post that she is describing... there it was. Claimed in less than 60 seconds... no kidding. Here's the map of where I was and where I was parked at:

And the friendly Dumont Shipping Company Employee:

After getting the package and the employee posing I got in my car and got another phone call. It was FL. At that time he told me to walk to this one place. Unfortunately, I'm partially disabled. I told him I would drive to the location and that threw him into a loop, but once I got there (a coffee shop), I had another fellow UFer with me (your name escapes me, but THANK YOU). I get there, see a guy in a Flynn LIves TShirt with a laptop, I plop the package down and said HI Smile

I hand him my phone per instructions and he nodded and gave me the phone back which the guy on the guy phone told me to open the book up and get the stuff out of it. After all of that, my partner and I proceeded to figure out the 7 digit code. After a minute or two the guy on the other end asked me what pages I had... I told him, but once I got done, my partner told me to try this one part of the page. I line it up and type it in. First try... It worked Smile NICE. The guy on the phone tells me that what ever the FL rep gives me is mine to keep and we hang up. He hands me a FL pin and a FL Tshirt that I automatically gave to my partner since it was his idea that solve the puzzle.

After small chit chat, we were done waiting for the other cities to finish up Smile

Btw, our pics were taken for 42 Entertainment... that should be interesting to see if that shows up on the website!
