[OT] Seven facts about "Tron: Legacy"
If you were at Comic-Con...

http://io9.com/5709777/7-awesome-facts-you-need-to-know-about-tron-legacy?skyline=true&s=i

(Warning: Possible spoilers)

Most interesting is #7...

Quote:
7.) Fans in Hall H at Comic-Con voiced the arena scenes.

Joe Kosinski: We were just starting the sound portion, and the guys at Skywalker [Ranch sound studio] were telling me, "You have all these arenas and all these specific chants — that's a very hard thing to fabricate. You've got to find a thousand people who are willing to follow chants." So we were looking at sports arenas, and I realized, "Wait a minute! I've got Comic-Con coming! Let's record the Comic-Con hall and get our crowd reactions in Hall H." So we did it — all the crowds in the disc wars sequence are Comic-Con fans in Hall H. It was fun to put the fans who supported us in the movie itself.

So if you were in Hall H during Comic-Con... you're in the movie! Very Happy

Maybe Flynn Lives members are listed in them, like they did in LOTR?

Yes that was a great time. I'm also in the movie with many others. It was such a treat for them to do that. That was the best Comic Con experience ever and I have been going since '96. Getting recorded, and making through the location hunt..... can't beat that!

As part of Tron Night, one of the sequences they played had the crowd screaming "disc wars" and I had flashbacks of Hall H @ SDCC. That was fun! So, can I put it on my resume?

The TRON Legacy panel is by far the one that stands out the most in my mind, after going to 8 Comic-Cons. I feel privileged to have taken part, however small, in re-igniting TRON for the masses. If it wasn't for Hall H and it's awesome programming, I might have caught wind of the scavenger hunt as well. AT&T cellular service in that area FTL as well...
