Did anyone think to just sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle, little star' or the alphabet song or something? It doesn't have to be your REAL favorite. Smile

I'm headed out this afternoon to field calls in Raleigh...and if I get a live one, I'm singing "Itsy-Bitsy Spider." I'm curious as to whether it'll give Melissa a fit or not. Wink

I considered "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", but it would feel like cheating to me. Considering some people have already had to publically humiliate themselves, it's only fair that I humiliate myself as well. Razz

I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee,
Won't my mommy be so proud of me,
I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee,
Ouch! It stung me! Shocked

I'm squishing up the baby bumblebee,
Won't my mommy be so proud of me,
I'm squishing up a baby bumblebee,
Ooh! It's yucky! Twisted Evil

AXON HOT - The 10:19 top_hat in Mpls. is hot.

Kamal, Sophia, and Hiro talking about the holograms on the casino chips. Sounds like they were a little drunk. The clip ends with Kamal going to answer a slipstream call from his mother.

Thanks to traffic I missded the black_taxi axon, but it looks like enough other hunters got to it fast enough that it's already archived.

Good work crew.

Ooooh, I'd forgotten the bumblebee song! That might be even better! Smile

I did the other 10:19. They started out arguing about the color of the casino chips, then listed what the holograms were. The first one was the casino, the second one was dice, and the third was Lady Luck.

The 10:07 in Minneapolis rang!... I answered with a "Hello.....hello....hello?" nobody said anything? Finally a click sound went and that was it. Did I do something wrong, what the heck.

I started a thread in Interaction dealing with her reaction to the songs (for selfish SP-freeing reasons and information gathering reasons).

I will try "Row row row your boat". Maybe I can get her to sing in a round with me. And maybe the "life is but a dream" part will get a response. *shrug*

If anyone wants to try their luck with a shipwreck song, you can't go wrong with Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".

MoGA 3/5 again! Sheesh!

Ok ladies and gents...

I'm 3/5 again this week. Both files went hot, so no sense in trying to give a transcript.

My report is posted here:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6190&start=71

Enjoy, and good luck hunting!

Madison Report:

There still is one phone (3:21) in Madison that eludes eb, Rob and I. Both eb and I have attempted to enhottenate it, but it just doesn't like our voices. We did a cell phone call between it and my phone, and it seemed to be O.K... just a little quiet. We're still crossing our fingers for a live call next week or something... but my guess is that they go to people who have contributed the most, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get it. Still, I'm going to try and communicate with the Pious Flea or something...

Grrrrrrr.
As themill mentioned we were able to enhottenate 5 of our 6 axons for the day. We would have had them all but it seems that the last phone on our list is experiencing technical difficulties.

There is definitely a problem with the phone for our last axon (13:21 passenger_side). It rang just fine, but this time, like last week Melissa DID NOT RECOGNIZE OUR RESPONSE. We even switched who answered the phone this time because when this happened last week we thought perhaps she just did not recognize the player's voice. No way. Not this week.

Because of this, the 608-251-9988 phone is not a good phone for incoming calls. I requested to have it taken off of payphone-directory.org. (Since that is how we got it added as an axon a few weeks ago.) I'd rather have less working axons than continuously miss the axon because of technical difficulties.
