Man, I bet the DtD one will be even more packed when you consider there are 3 hotels full of tourists within 1000 feet of the theater as well.

with the free-for-all screening, i have a feeling that downtown disney would be worse than burbank. for starters, many people are there already who would ask what the line is for and would just jump in it, save spots, and call their friends. this could amplify the potential congestion in getting in. plus being around disney would make it feel more 'official'.

i am uncertain whether the 'los angeles' ones are *not* imax. while both locations aren't listed on the site as imax, these theatres have imax screens in them. we'll have to see.

I think none of the ones from Flynnlives are Imax since they are being presented in Real3d, which is the one used for normal movie theaters.

Correct. These are regular, non-IMAX screenings.
