Yeah, I've noticed this about the Wiki. It seems to not really update even though it says it has updated. But if you go to edit it, the transcript is there.

You need to start with Mass Effect 1. It's an RPG, story and character-heavy. Standard BioWare fare, which is to say FREAKING AMAZING. If you import a character from ME1 into ME2 it's such a good experience, tons of little decisions from the first game come back into play. Get ME1, play through ~~as an Infiltrator snipers ftw~~ , then import into ME2. Be happy.

Yes and no. It's not so clear-cut as good and evil; more like diplomatic versus aggressive. And you can swing between both. One of my Shepards has both meters filled up about halfway. Makes for some interesting gameplay.

Much more sandbox-y, though not to the same degree as Fallout. You start on a linear path, get through some early plot stuff, then you're given some major plot quests and a whole big galaxy to explore and do sidequests in. Once you've completed the plot quests, you can trigger the end-game, which locks you back into a linear path.
