ARG "studio" of sorts-- interested?

(on a random note, is anyone else having trouble logging in?) ... anyway.

I'm obsessed with making ARGs as immersive (is that the right word?) as possible-- beyond just email and chat and forums, to mailing and phone calls and video chat and live meet ups and that kind of thing. Thing is, being just one person makes that rather difficult, not to mention my lack of more technical skills.

So, I'd like to get a group of people together to PM ARGs. We'd think up the plot together, developing characters and deciding who would play which ones (sometimes it might be multiple characters, some face-to-face characters and others just online characters, so to speak). Each person would have a job (or two), either as a character actor or techie (making vids, clues, etc). Those who are willing to spend money doing things like mailing packages or texting can, while those who'd rather not or can't won't have to.

The exact set up can be rearranged and further developed, but you get the basic idea.

If you're interested, email me at l_lawlietSPLATnull.net with basic info (contact info, skills, resources, etc). I can't do PMs, because like I said above I'm having trouble logging on.

Email responses that have nothing to do with the above or only want to b*&$# at me about the above will be fed to the psychotic squirrels in Lorring Park. Wink

PM Recruitment thread.

On Cabal's excellent suggestion today in the "So You Wanna Be a PM" chat, I'm starting this thread so that people who are interested in becoming a PM can post their skills and contact information.

There you go, a group of people who may have the skills you lack for making ARGs. Plus if you hang out in Chat-Sol's #unFiction room, you can always ask if anyone in chat is available to help (who will then contact you privately to set up the details).

(I miss Dave Szulborski he had such good ideas)
