Well I guess now would be the time for people to offer that vacant space...

As I said before, I got a pass, but that space is taken....

so this might sound greedy, and I don't completely expect an answer, but if anyone is going to the San Francisco Norelco screening and are looking to fill that empty guest spot, would you please shoot me a PM?

I have 3 friends who would be forever grateful to anyone who gives them that space. Of course, I don't expect one person to accomodate all three, but if even one of you gives one of my friends a seat I'll try to make it as worth it as possible... unless want to sell your seat for money... sorry, I'm semi broke.

I do have some swag to trade for this extra seat(s), and I assure you... I'm willing to give up some really dear to me swag for my friends...it won't be an easy trade... at least for me.

All you guys trying to use others passes do realize the pass has a persons name and requires matching ID for the pass to be used right? I mean unless the person shows up, acquires tickets and hands those to you, your not getting in.

Change the name on the PDF. More than likely to make it fast they will just look at the name and check your ID. Of course, if they do check the number to the name that would suck to get all there out there (which its seems many people or driving a couple hours or so to see the screening).

Yea I mean I don't want to sound like an ass or anything but for Tron Night the event people didn't f*ck around with the passes and if I had to guess I would say it's going to be the same kinds of people running this one as well.

Well down here near SF (Santa Clara to be extact) it was kind of the polar opposite. They just took the passes, no weird looks, no scanning, no id checking, nothing. I had my ID out but not once did they look at it or ask me for it. I guess the turnout wasn't as huge as they hoped.

Same here in S. Jersey. However, I wonder if a person shows up without a pass, and is willing to wait until everyone else is seated and beg a spot. For Tron Night, they seated all the pass people, then let anyone in who wanted to see it. But for me, that would be driving 25 miles at midnight for a MAYBE.

But it might be worth it, seeing that there were going to be my fellow Digital Pulse folks being there.

Don't forget that even after the overflow line got in (without any passes) the theater was still only half full. I think this is the reason they didn't care about ID or anything. They were well aware of the size of the line.

If there is anyone needing a single pass into the Chicago - Navy Pier showing on Monday, let me know. I am going solo and have my guest slot open.

I'd be happy to give it to you but at this point isn't it too late? I stupidly did not save the .pdf and only have a print-out, maybe ObiShwan see above was smarter than me and can still help you.

Whatever would work to be honest. I only found out about this yesterday and the norelco thing was over...
