The narrator DOES have plenty of personal problems, that's for sure.

Do you have Make It Count on your list yet?

http://countingitup.blogspot.com/

If so, I'd like to give it a +1. ^.^

Well, if we're gonna add Make it Count, we should make sure to include these:

Scared Blog
H(a)unting Blog
My Name is Zytherys Tumblr
Finding the Darkness Blog
Lost Within the Green Sky Blog
Bright Asylum Blog
A Study in Purple Blog

But that makes the list a bit huge. How long will we keep a long up for judging?

(Btw I'll make my own votes soon)

I'm only putting stuff up that really started within the last month or two.

So no Make It Count, sorry peeps. :/

If any of the blogs I have on the list are too 'old', notify me and I'll consider taking them down.

I think I'm going to keep the blogs I have up vote-able forever, from now on. Good/no good?

I think that Make it Count has already generally been accepted as a popular/decent/worthwhile SlenderBlog, there's not really a need to vote on it.

As far as newishness:

Scared and My Name is Zytherys have both been around since June.

Hiding the Darkness is from July.

If they've lasted this long and are still updating either the authors are really dedicated (or bored) or they're doing something right.

I think the Picking Up The Peices Blog IS a slenderblog.
The "Blind, but sees, silent, but speaks, deaf but listening" bit seems like our tall friend...

Time for me to throw some voting in, now that I've finished finals and have caught up with a lot of these series....

No Escape From Reality: -1
No. Just.... No. It does everything wrong, and the only way it could slightrly redeem itself at all from the terrible quality would be for the author to reveal it was a troll blog, and thus intentionally done that way. I'd say it should be put straight into the Hall of Shame.

Anthroagast: +1
When I first started reading it, I didn't have high hopes. It was obvious that it was going to go two ways; either it would be a very deep, House of Leaves style story, or something that was trying to look meaningful and symbolic, but was really just pretentious and shallow. The first few posts led me to believe it was the latter; while the author is trying to write in a formal, archaic style, he doesn't have a handle on writing in that style, so mistakes abound. What made me change my mind was the December 2 post, "THIS is Anthroagast", which completely changed how I looked at the dream logs he was writing (and which I think on its own could be seen as a good short Slenderstory). It has a lot more subtlety than many other stories, which I like, though I think I may need to reread the whole thing once it's over to make sure I caught everything.

Smiting the Gods: N/A
I know the author IRL, so any comment I make would have more bias than I'm willing to put into this post.

Musical Occurrences: +0
I think it's current position on the list fits it perfectly. There are no problems with the story; he's got the writing down, built up a character, hasn't made any obvious fumbles. But at the moment, the story feels like a cookie cutter, just another generic Slenderblog. Nothing in it has yet to distinguish it from any other story I've read, so I think it should keep it's +3 on the list.

Picking Up The Pieces:-1
Badly written. That is the most glaring flaw in this, above all else. Poorly written, poorly advertised (posting on Tutorial for help? Even though Slendy hasn't been introduced yet? Rolling Eyes ), and his foreshadowing is pulled off badly.

Hiking Fiend: +1
I don't know why, but I was extremely resistant to picking up this blog, even though so many people were saying good things about it (perhaps because so many people were saying good things about it), but now I'm glad I did. It's very well written, and the take on Slendy is fresh, and keeps your attention. The only big problem I have with it is that the author started with Slender Man physically attacking the protagonist early on. Now that we've reached a point where the possibility of Slendy killing the protagonist has been established, it would be hard to increase the suspense. Also, if the story keeps going on, it raises the question of why Slendy just doesn't kill him, since there's only so many times you can have someone attacked, and then the attacker just leave, before the audience stops caring.

Something Wicked This Way Comes: +0
This is the kind of thing I was talking about when I said I was worried about rating these stories too early. How does this have a +3 rating? Nothing's happened yet! There's only been four posts, none of which have contained any plot significance beyond establishing the character and setting. It doesn't lose any points for being poorly written, or messing up at the start, but nothing in it has happened for me to compliment yet.

Outcast: N/A
The blog's been deleted.

SEESME: +1
White on black is annoying to read, and I hate chatspeak, but it's a unique way of telling a story which no one has done before, which I feel needs to be encouraged. The characters feel like real people, and I enjoy following their interactions.

Dark Harvest: N/A
I lack an internet connection good enough to follow multiple video series, so I haven't watched any of this yet. Now that I've got more free time, I may try to catch up with it, and give it a rating later.

Wow, you really thought about those! Thank you. I'll add those votes to the tallies now.

Looks like you've got the opportunity to begin to judge the plot now. This guy likes guns, apparently.
