If we can vote for ourselves, I'd like to martyr myself as the Runt. That way no one gets their feelings hurt for being dumped on.

Well what criteria should we be looking for, or are we just going for the "Hey guys, pick me!" approach?

Reasons to vote Mapinguari:

Dedication: Someone who, instead of studying for finals, is up at 2 in the morning discussing EMH tournament logistics? That's someone who understands the importance of this tournament.

Leadership skills: I've been president of a school club before. So that's something.

Expendability: I've made very few important contributions to the EMH society. If the leader becomes subject to further harm like many suspect, the other Lops will continue being able to rely on the heavyhitters to get information, whilst the leader just focuses on leading.

Bravery: I am willing to fight with the same reckless abandon as our mutual friend Evan, who I believe is somebody we can all look up to, assuming he isn't HABIT, which the jury is still out on, but whatever.

Openness: I'm not afraid to get personal. If HABIT comes asking for my deepest darkest secrets, I'll be ready to give them to him! (I'll probably just redirect him to my tumblr, though. http://isnthesweet.tumblr.com/)

We've got lots of cool people here, so I'm not going to nominate anyone for a leader as of yet.

Our undesignated, in-game numbers for runt discussion: 079, 089, 100, 105, 109, 114, 116, 124, 126, 143, 144, 146, 150.

excluded 096 because she's a friend of mine, but she is also undesignated on the wiki.

The criteria, I imagine, is entirely at our discretion. If we go the "Hey pick me!" thing, very little definitive voting will get done.

I might put together a list of, um, nominees, later once more rabbits flock to this thread.

There's no need for anyone to martyr themselves if we can choose someone who we don't know as the runt. That said: If anyone is any of the numbers in the OP, make a guest post! We don't want to eliminate you!

We need to coordinate on which unknown to make runt though.
And there's that um, leader thing.

Well, I imagine someone who would be the leader would have to be someone with enormous amounts of free time, in the event that they are needed IMMEDIATELY for one of HABIT's trials.

As embarrassing as that is, I am one of those free-time people.

Well I guess my only tangible qualifications is the fact that I was statistically the first person to complete the first trial, and the second to upload their video. The former happened within ten minutes of the trial being posted, and the latter, only half an hour after that.

The leader thing should be easier than choosing a runt: "Oh no, nobody likes me enough to be a leader!" is much easier to take than "Oh no, everyone hates me so much they voted me out of the tournament to face certain death!"

I figure we should wait a bit before choosing a number so that people can claim them (if possible), but just at random: 144, because square roots are evil.

edit: Seconding the free time thing. I'm always here, forever.

I could be one of those people too. three classes at community college leaves A LOT of time.
Not sure if I would want to do that though.

OT: Going to sleep now, will be back in the morning. Hopefully things get a little more sorted out by then.

I am definitely one of those people, since I am both homeschooled (the kind where you make your own schedules) and on break for the rest of the month.

That being said, I'm unsure I'd WANT to be a leader, unless you guys want someone expendable for the job.
