I don't think there's really anything detrimental about other groups/people being able to see our discussion, so:

If there's a better way to chat (which I'm sure there is), feel free to suggest it. I would use IRC if I could.

Aww, it's no problem. I have to put my lurking to some use. Also, are you sure, flamewarriorlee? We could always decide on one of the inactive numbers to eliminate instead.

Then that would be very fair to them, would it? This way, I get to prevent HABIT the sadistic pleasure of watching us turn on each other. Very Happy

This was exactly why I wanted to RUNT myself. I'm commending you for your bravery, man.

If you're sure, then! You're awesome for volunteering to do this.

The chat seems to be a bad idea if we've already designated a runt, and he's sure he's willing to do it. I assume if we all voted for a leader independently it'd be the same few people getting votes, so there'd be a majority anyway. I'm still hanging out there if anyone wants to talk, trial-related or not. It's 3:30 in the morning, I have finals tomorrow, and I can't sleep. Oops.

GMing for my friends' POKEMON TABLETOP game.

They are not doing well.

I wish I was doing something half as cool. My professor said that the essay questions for my final can be prepared in advance, so I am halfheartedly trying to type my third essay response as I grow more and more tired, wondering how much EMH-related stuff I'm going to miss when I sleep past noon.

edit: For some content: any leader recommendations? Is there any consensus on whether we trust HABIT when he says the runt is eliminated and the leader is...I guess just leader in name until the trials specify otherwise.

I think it'd be all but impossible to pull off, unless we went by numbers, but what if say #95 elected 95 for Runt, 96 for Leader (or visa versa), and then #96 elected 96 for runt, 97 for leader, and so on. When we reach the end of the list, we just wrap the whole thing around. That way no one is the Runt or Leader...or everyone is. I dunno. HABIT would probably just get pissed.

He did mention the Prisoner's Dilemma and that's the precise 'solution' to in, as far as game theory goes.

Anyway, I'm fine with either role if they must be thrust upon me. I'm just pointing out an option...as complicated as it is.

Are we talking Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures? 'Cause if we are, awesome.

Also, whoever thinks themself as a "martyr" by offering to be the runt? Stop that. It's silly. It makes more sense to get rid of a player that hasn't been talking to the team than one that has. Let's face it, most of you are here to win and not be killed/rake'd. So if anything, let's go what we can, which is basically lynch they guy who doesn't say no.

As well, we should have the more capable and "on the ball" people throw up whether they'd like to lead or not. It would help to have a ballot for everyone.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Let's pick a slendernation member for the runt

Lol, just kidding, that'd be mean, but yes I agree with you, it would make more sense to take this as an oppertunity to get rid of someone who's not participating with their teammates and fellow rabbits and trying to be a "lonewolf", and probably screw us over somehow in future trials, but then again, what's said is said, and the martyr has already been expressed as such.

Now, if we REALLY want to fuck with HABIT, we should vote HABIT as the runt, or choose one person who would be voted for both leader AND runt, which would negate any attempts at HABIT pulling a switcheroo on us.

Also, I too, am enjoying old Pokeman games. I finally figured out how to work a damn gameboy emulator and got a couple of gameboy ROMs (Red, Yellow, Gold, the ones I played as a youngster), I'm on Red right now, I'm stuck on the water gym, Misty keeps kicking my ass. Sad

Coming out of lurking for a little while to say....

Well, damn.

Has anyone else been chatting on things other than the livestream chat? Or has the livestream always been the thing?

Something feels... not quite right about this whole set up (internetpsycholol). I think we should play it safe and nominate the nameless.... However gross it makes me feel. Though that's probably the point.

You've got my vote. I don't know for what, but you've got it.

but seriously, we know there's going to be a twist.

Whoever gets picked as leader should be ready to either a) be eliminated or b) choose other people to be eliminated (and maybe be the sole survivor on the team). the same thing goes for the runt in case HABIT goes for the obvious mind screw.

I don't think that we should pick an unknown member for the sacrifice in case HABIT pulls a bait and switch on us (aka. the leader is eliminated and the runt becomes leader). If we needed that person later on, we wouldn't be able to get in contact with him/her since we don't know who they are.

Hello everyone Smile Please don't vote for me for anything

I have no clue how I'm voting :/

I'm too scared of picking the wrong person or having some trick pulled

Or HABIT telling us who voted for us for various positions, therefore hurting my feelings

until we are given reason to believe otherwise, i'm going to assume that only people who were voted for either position will survive this trial.
