 		Also, note that Seven Deadly sins and Seven Groups/Waves of color color each have our favorite number.

I know this is stupidly obvious but it is further support for the previous spec.


Is it possible that all correct choices will be related to the number seven(pretty simple puzzle-wise) or is it a stronger spec to go with the code=phone number spec? It seems likely that getting a phone number and then calling it would be an effective way to free the Princess.

Perhaps Melissa will in fact divulge the code?

It's my understanding that some are and some aren't. One guy just put in his name a rank today, but some people have been getting cell-phone calls as well.

All the live calls today give you a chance to talk to the Sleeping Princess and guide her through this puzzle when Melissa "breaks down".

 		I'm keeping track of the answers and possibilities here.

it seems we're slowly getting the Princess out of her encryption...

there's two ways of looking at this puzzle - either:

1. we're choosing the answers that relate to 7, and getting the princess out
2. we're choosing the answer that doesn't belong, and recording numbers they relate to in order to find a decryption code

personally, I think it's 1 so far, but it may be a combination of both.

There's still a possibility we need to choose the number that corresponds to our position in Melissa's phone number... we'll find out in two more steps if the 4th step is a 7 or a 6 (M).

So, we either follow the 7's, or follow Melissa's phone number (777-635-4772), or record the numbers of the correct answers.

 		To me, it seems like kind of a stretch to go from "wave" to colors in a rainbow. That's a pretty loose association to the number 7. It's not one you would normally make. I'm leaning against the 7s now...

Old crew members (like myself) are getting pre-recorded messages (i.e. our phones are just regular axons). People at payphones are, however, getting live calls on occasion. At least that's what I've seen. Right now this place is a war zone of cross posting and mismatched threads.

There are seven wavelengths of visible light, as you would see in a rainbow or when light is split by a prism.

I understand. But it's not wavelengths, or colors.. it's wave. Turning it into something different is a loose association in my book. That's all I'm saying. We'll find out for sure as we progress though.
