Hey! It was awesome to finally match the faces with the names! My son kept asking me, "How do you know all these people... we're in Chicago!?" LMAO. He had no idea how deeply involved I was with you guys in the campaign. The wait in line was as I expected... boring as hell. Then we had some people come up and shoot the s*it for a while, so that was nice. As you can see from the previous posts here, everything went pretty well til the cutting began. What went from being about 15th in line went to about 35th after these jackasses let people in, "Oh, they are all plus 1's", whatever... everyone got a seat so I stopped caring at that point. When we went in all the Disney and Norelco people were like,"cool shirt!" Then I told them it was from the SDCC 09' and if they had a black light I could show them the writing from the hunt that took place... and low and behold they had the blacklights setup in the corridor. They all cane in and I showed the the writing. It was pretty cool. We grabbed our popcorn and found the best seats available, which were'nt too bad. Rusty sat just in front of us to the left and by 7:15 I thought he was going to run up and start the show himself! Then the wristbands started flying (tronmook you rule). You could tell alot of people had no idea what they were about, some kid got ahold of the whole sheet and pretty much hogged them to himself. Then the movie started. I have to tell you, every hair on my neck and arms was on end! 28 years of waiting for this and I had high hopes. I was not disappointed. After the movie, I looked at my son and he had a look of amazement on his face. I knew then the trip was worht it. We got in the car, drove 3.5 hrs home and I fell asleep happy.

Awesome to meet all you again! Hope our paths cross for the next one!!!!

Wow, that sucks, Smash. I'm sorry...

Well, I know Waterborn has a bunch covered, but I'm definitely gonna take care of my Chicago peeps with pins, so send me a PM, and we'll arrange mail/pickup.

Who's going opening night to Navy Pier, btw?

I got a couple too so if you're going to the Woodridge Midnight showing, LMK!

BTW, If anyone is interested, there is an arcade in Brookfield that has a TRON game! I'll be there til like 9 or 10 tonight before the film if anyone wants to hang out! http://www.gallopingghostarcade.com/
