hives.html Gteetings, this is my first post and I noticed on the hives.html that Aunt Margaret started her hive seven years ago. Probably nothing but its a thought for at least let your mind chew on.

Further, you can easily have a 7-point star (commonly seen on police badges, for example). Although I would typically associate a star with 5, I thought I would mention the possibility that it could be any number of points, really.

Actually, I believe that Wave was the right answer. I'm fairly sure we've gotten past the first two forks.

Is there another thread about this? How do you know? And what are the next three? (Sorry for the questions...)

Where have you seen that posted? I've not seen it on any of the pages documenting this puzzle, nor in this thread?
/me is confused.
Edit: Remember that there are some of us unable to get onto IRC therefore are clueless as to what occurs there unless told on the forums.

Crap this thread moves fast! Took the live call at 13:47. She started at the oringinal point, with the benches, generator and phone and transmission tower. I knew that we had tried the other two options before, so I took her down the Deadly sins path.
Three more options, a saw, a comapass rose, and waves (she said "Like at the beach") Then, I tried to take her down the compass rose path. She screamed bloody murder, but it looks like we already know this! She said she also saw a character from the circus (I can't remember her name) but it was the one with broke bones and could contrort herself.
My rough transcript is here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=78459#78459
Someone ask her to describe the waves ( how many, what color) and the saw as well.

This was mentioned here

among other places. You're on the right track with your thinking, it's just been done already. Also this thread is trying to deal with the Sleeping Princess phone/balloon/phrase puzzle. It's good form to make sure you post questions or speculation(spec) in the right forum.
The Bee Log has some good quick info to get started with.

Also check out Rowan's Guide for a complete "Everything we know" analysis of the game till now:

Hope that helps, I know this can be confusing. No trout. Just a smile.

i think Dragonrider just means that we've got the answer to 2nd fork. not that anyone has actually done so.
it seems too many people getting live calls haven't been on top of the boards before going out, making it difficult for us to make progress.
i welcome all of our new crew members and friends, it's just frustrating to see, given that our opportunities to free SP are so limited.

I know this is a little premature, but I'm wondering if we WANT to let the princess out. She think we're the clock work rat remember (As evidenced from the live call convo's with her).
I'm thinking that the farther she goes the more she loses bits of her personality or "Self" (like perdita) and when we get her to the end of the balloon trail or close to the end she's going to "see herself" (maybe remember who she is) and we're going to realize she's dangerous and stop helping her (like how the rat cut her balloon when perdita saw her reflection).
That story may have been foreshadowing or a warning.

it just irks me that so many people seem to answer the same answer every time... why is it that compass is the most endearing answer to everyone?

It doesn't really matter if we want it or not, it's story/Game progression. We didn't want the SP to be locked up in the first place, but the Game dictated that she was, and we were powerless to stop it. We should just play the Game, solve the Puzzles and hope it all works out for the best at the end of it all. Which it should if the PMs have done their job right.

he may be right...
But what if somebody tells Melissa that the Princess is communicating to us over the line after she says she detects something?
