Acheron (formerly L3) Press Release

We received a press release today about the upcoming ARG formerly known as L3, and re-branded as Acheron by the puppetmasters at the ARGCon the weekend of April 25-27, 2003. Attached is the original Word document, excerpted as follows:

Press Release

Announcing the upcoming release of a new collective gaming experience! Acheron � could you decide?

Tucson, AZ, April 24, 2003: Acheron is a revolutionary immersive internet game where the players become an intricate part of the unfolding journey and mystery. The storyline will progress through the players' discovery and interaction with websites, characters, and real world items and locations that are components of the game. The players will be required to decipher puzzles of various types that are integrated into the plot. Players will need to work cooperatively with other players to effectively complete tasks.

Who were the Lawyers at Landau, Luckman, and Lake? What were they working on? Why does a perfectly legitimate University seem to hold so many secrets? How can we find out what they were hiding? Who is "Jake?" What can't he stop?

The PuppetMasters of Acheron are bending the limits of time and space to provide you with a new immersive reality this summer. Registrations for the game will begin soon!
