Latest Chat

Well it's not only a one-sided chat. Josh never even entered the chat session. Seems Josh's mind is elsewhere. Perhaps the Others are keeping Josh busy and are looking for ways to keep him from interacting with Mysterio.

Can't wait to see the picture. I doubt there will be any amazing reveal but maybe a new clue which can help glue some previous clues together.

I understand what you're saying, and thought of that as well, but began thinking that if I were Josh, and had received one of my favorite books (favorite enough to lift from the local library) and noticed that through out it were circled/undelined/blocked out words throughout, it would have raised some red flags for me, irrespective of how old I was (though it would seem obvious that he was at least as old enough to be able to read to have initially found the comic fascinating enough to rip off from the library).

That raises another point. Josh has said he "never knew his father." Yet, if it was his father (which seems a reasonable inference) who sent him the copy, how would his father have known that Josh was so Lady gaga for Moby?

Me thinks his mother may have been in communication with Pappy Minker for some period of time when Josh was growing up and for some yet to be told reason, did not confide this to Josh. I'm wondering when Josh will come across the writings/note/letter that his mother wrote him explaining in detail, more about what became of his father.

So I followed someones link to the auditions page-where they have sample "Sides" for people auditioning to read for Josh, Collin, and Natalie, from the way those play out it sounds like Josh knew his father at some point. Granted those are just sides, and could be asking for portrayal of emotions. They can still clue us in to the type of relationship they want josh to have with his mother and his friends... Granted for all we know josh's mom is dead.. could be flashbacks?

Still slightly miffed that the chat IMO started 3 hours late. But am willing to believe it was by design and not sloppy Puppetmastery. Josh not being part of the chat was hopefully completely by design.

Maybe Josh's Coelacanth contact finally got in contact with him and he was busy meeting with the contact and hopefully getting the fish.
Or, as already brought up, just spending quality time with Sarah.

As for why the chat started IMO 3 hours late, that kinda plays into the Sarah=Mysterio (Mysteria?) spec. Maybe she was with Josh at the Coelacanth meet-up and could not get to a computer until later in the evening. Wanting to keep up with communications via chat, and continue to lead Josh by the nose, still posted something just for the heck of it. Same thing applies if she was spending time with Josh.
But if that's true, why not just steal the Moby Dick book? Confused

I'm okay with filling in the blanks, it's kinda fun. But I can't shake this feeling that I might be making excuses for poor PMing.

Still waiting on the picture, I guess "I'll upload a picture" means "When I get around to it."

verry good point my friend i guess if there were other marking josh would of tried to work it out himself or at least said to Mysterio there are wired block out words etc throughout the book i like your thinking the only thing that may hold that there are more markings is that josh has not read this copy (i assume from your statment he stole his orignal one and this is the one someone sent him if that's incorrect i think ill dump the idear of marking throughout the book0

also on the hole Sarah=Mysterio im not ruling it out completely but it just seems to be unlikely i may be wrong i said that about the 112 post and i was very wrong about that *facepalm but Mysterio says he worked with joshes dad and that just wouldn't work but it may be that shes spinning a story

Wheres the beef? uhh picture..

Last time Mysterio and Josh had the chat where Mysterio said he "would share more of what he has"

I discovered the Id pictures around a week after, now that might of been because I did not check pdp11 sooner.

In anycase they are not on sties at this time.

Great Chat !

I am soooo glad I did not wait up for update. What a disappointment! So far, Josh has not lived up to his part of the bargain and posted any pictures as he has promissed. It takes him weeks to even the minimalist update to HLM. Mysterios is starting to look like Cheerios because his lack of action. If I had to guess, both of these characters are lazy, slow and not the brightest bulbs on the tree.

That given, Mysterios said he was friends with Josh's dad. if Josh is in his 40's as we have guestimated. that would make Mysterio at least in his 60's. Heck he could be in a nursing home in Palm Springs by the quickness of his actions.

Good Grief, where is this going? Bang Head

Well, has anybody checked the file list for changes on the PDP11?

I don't mind if this is not a lot of action right now, it is a nice alert that more is coming though. Remember this is the real world here folks, so the game probably won't get too wild until Christmas is past, maybe even after New Years. If it gets to a really good roll in January, that'll be great - it'll give us a game to lead up to the film's release.

I must agree with you.I don't mind that it doesn't have alot going on yet.I am enjoying this so far and expect more to come.

I'm not really bummed about this ARG. I figure a good month or two before release I'll be pissed if the clues are still this lame though.

Tomorrows Chat

OK gang. So, looking at the calendar, have we decided that they are on EST or PST?

Last chat (?) was PST so if they stay consistent it should happen at 1:49-2:30 pm PST tomorrow afternoon.

But, just to be safe, i'll be looking in at 10:49 PST just in case they decide to go EST on us.

"Holy Timezones Batman!!"

I'm thinking it'll be PST, but will be checking the EST times too. I hope we don't have any no shows this time and get some insight into PaPa Minker and TROGL and Braegen file and device and...
