 		They're videos uploaded on separate accounts in response to a Halloween video contest - it's unclear whether or not they're related to canon events, giving hints as to what might happen in the future, or just reusing themes from EMH.

edit: Welcome to the ARK was taken down after people found it, so my guess is they're probably not canon although they may be using ideas that will come up in the future.

And from what I understand talking about whether or not these videos are canon is Not Done due to the boards imploding with debate and argumentation.

Man, I hope HABIT doesn't take too much longer with the counting. I'm not used to elections where Anderson Cooper isn't standing in front of a map telling me how many districts are reporting.

 		There will be a video released later tonight detailing the election, the video following instructions sent by HABIT. ...Would actually work to describe who voted for who. If a bit long and time consuming...and less convenient than just posting it all if he desired to go down that path.

Derp, yeah, no more arguments about whether or not the videos are canon, didn't mean to make it sound like I was starting that again. That was just MY OPINION and it is probably wrong and there's really nothing else we can debate about at this point. Wink

And I guess this tally is a little harder than the last one, which was just "who sent in an e-mail?" Now there are three different groups with votes for lots of different people so I think it'll take a little longer. No worries, we can be patient for a little while .

OK, that combined with mattwan's image of HABIT!Evan in rolled-up shirtsleeves counting little scraps of paper and tallying them on an adding machine... hilarious. What's Jeff doing to help the vote counting, I wonder?

 		I had nothing to do at Career Study today so I wasted a bunch of time thinking about EMH and came up with some theories. If I can get them to make sense, I'll post them.

Also, we watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in English and I learned that I can't think of the phrase "little fish/fishes" and not associate it with creepy-ass shit.
Actually, along with the whole rabbit conversation after the first group meeting, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest has an creepier twist in my mind now due to EMH.

 		Okay, crackpot theory time.

I've been rewatching the videos with a friend of mine, and other then a couple of Slendy sightings that I hadn't noticed before, I haven't really noticed anything new. Until now, at least. So, I realized that the main trio sees the Rake a few days before Alex starts having any experiences with it. What if Alex wasn't the Rake's original target? What if Jeff was?

I hold the theory that the Rake is just a puppet or minion of HABIT (But that's a story for another day), so what if HABIT sent the Rake after the Dead Girl because she knew something that would be important to the trio, and then he sent it after Jeff, because Jeff seemed to be the one doing the most research on HABIT?

And the reason that the Rake is targeting Alex now is because it'll get Jeff and the Hybrids to pay attention to something else?

I dunno. The Rake lurks outside their window when Evan is doing kung fu fighting stuff in self defense. (Or at least something white crawls by it.)

I think you might be onto something... I rewatched Ashen Waste the other day, when Vince reads the note they found on the dead girl. It indicates that Linnie & Friends were under the impression that the EMH boys knew something about Doc Corenthal, and that they would be able to help. Linnie's people might have had more information than the boys, and that information could have guided them towards answers that HABIT and/or Slenders didn't want them getting at. So the Rake kills the girl, the boys are left without information, and the antagonists continue to act with minimal interference.

 		I'm still waiting on more info from Jeff about their Slender suit, but I think all 3 instances in Self Defense are fake slendy.


edit about the Rake and Alex: I really think there's only two reasons why the Rake was targeting Alex. Either Habit put him there....or EVIL Jeff did.
