[PUZZLE] Entry #29 Audio

All right, as most of you know, there were some sounds in the distortion that happened to sound like voices. In order to make it easier to solve this without going through thirty other post, I decided to make a topic.

I'll post what we find for sure and what becomes speculation.
KNOWLEDGE:Definetly Voices at :35 and :50
SPEC: Voices at :30 seem to say something close to "Jay"

[Post edited from original - AUDIO UPDATED]

Hey all, here are the audio clips of the voices in the video with the noise removed as best as I could get it without losing some of the speech. I also pitch-shifted and tempo-shifted each voice to be as close to a natural sounding voice as possible. While it is still hard to hear, I am pretty sure at least part of the messages are audible now.

The first sample appears to be made up of two different voices. The first voice seems to be saying "Can you hear me?" followed by another sentence that is more difficult to decipher, but sounds a bit like "Keep it a secret." or something similar. This seems to sound more feminine (though I'm not positive) than the second voice, which seems to say "Thirteen years." or something similar in a male voice. The two samples were at two different speeds, so I had to tweak each clip individually. The sample was also backmasked in the original audio, so I had to reverse it (it sounded like gibberish).

The second sample is much more simple. It seems to be saying "Jay... Jay?" before cutting off abruptly (possibly mid-word). This sounded like a male voice as well when sped up to a normal speed.

Submitted for your approval, here are the audio clips. Note that these have been reedited and reuploaded - they are not the original sound clips that I included before editing this post. If you need those, I still have them, but these are clearer and less distorted so you aren't missing out.

What do you think you hear? These are just what I personally am hearing. I just wanted to supply you guys with as clear of a voice sample as possible.

This is my edit of the "Are you safe?" bit. Sounds about right.

Note that it's a processing file: You hear the original, then noiseless, etc, then the second to last one is the most audible.

It could also be "get a cigarette" instead of "keep it a secret", haha. That's just what I kept hearing. I could be entirely wrong. You decide.

I do hear the 'thirteen years' part, but the rest just sounds like gibberish and Microsoft Sam saying 'Soy' to me (SWA! SWA!)

I can finally hear "Jay? Jay?", and to me it sounds like Alex.

Good job Dorshi.

Although, for "entry_29_voice.wav" I think it might be saying "Jess... Jay".

If we take the events during the filming Marble Hornets and people becoming "gone" as an example, it is possible that Jay and Jess were traveling with a group and they started to disappear one by one. In which case, they are the only ones left.

Now then,as for entry_29_voice2.wav" I think "If you hear me, keep it a secret... Thirteen years." is a bit of a stretch.

Well, It could very well be one of the following:
If you hear me, keep it a secret (next bit too distorted to tell).
If you hear me, little secret (next bit too distorted to tell).
If you hear me, let us seek it (next bit too distorted to tell).
Can you hear me? Keep it a secret (next bit too distorted to tell).
Can you hear me? Little secret (next bit too distorted to tell).
Can you hear me? Let us seek it (next bit too distorted to tell).

Yeah you're right, I went back and listened to it again a few hours later and the ending is super distorted. In fact, even when you hear the unaltered audio you can detect an audible difference in distortion to the rest of the voice. I think I just listened to it so many times that my mind convinced me I was hearing "thirteen years".

I'll try to get the second part more audible tomorrow when the sun is out and I'm not scared shitless. Razz

I'm not entirely sure how you guys are hearing this... Are we assuming the high-pitched distortion noises are a female voice or just distortion? If so, the louder voice that plays first sound like it's reversed, it's very hard to make out. Anyone care to reverse it? This clip is the clearest one I've heard yet.

"Hello Jay"

I cleaned up and messed around with the audio. This is what I got.

It sounds a bit like "Hello Jay" to me. It's kind of hard to make out, but it sounds a bit more human.

[EDIT] Which could support the theory that Slendy distorts and reuses voices.

The clip I posted was actually reversed already. I'll post the original version also. To me, it sounded like it was backwards to begin with, but I'll let you be the judge of that. Gimme a few minutes and I'll add it to my original post.

EDIT: There you go, added the reversed version of the second file.

Oh, alrighty then, I must learn to read more carefully.
You seem to be right, it sounds even worse played forwards. xD Ah well, I'll leave all the decoding and interpretation to those who can hear the voice then.

Hey guys, just letting you know I updated my original post with the audio clips. They have all been reedited and are a bit easier to hear then before. I replaced my previous file attachments with these, but I still have the others if anyone wants them (though they are the same clips).
