Release the Kraken!
But... I can't decide who to root for!

Honestly, it would just be worse if GIR had been one of the leaders.

Edit: As to the theorizing on the poem, I'd assume it just refers to the psychological aspect of the trials. He's going to attempt to 'break' the heroes, making them less heroic, and turn them (Breeding them, if you will) into frightened rabbits. Also, I'm loving the Christmas cards, guys.

I can't tell if that was a compliment or an insult D: lol
It is most certainly a compliment.

But yeah, the guys just essentially confirmed that her name is Steph(anie). Does anyone think there's any relevance to the fact that up until now, her name has been redacted, but now something is letting it be revealed?

I think the only relevance about it is that, up until now, she hasn't been part of the crew. She's just been this odd girl with an odd past that we knew nothing about. Now we do, and so we have her name.

Still, it seems kind of strange to randomly let her name be revealed.

Plus the fact that later in the string of tweets Jeff goes back to calling her Damsel. Curiouser and curiouser...

I think either calling her Steph was an accident on his end, or he called her 'Damsel' again to let us know Steph = Damsel.
Yeah, most of us here know that already, but for there are probably a fair number of fans who didn't, y'know?

Also I kinda wish they didn't reveal her name. The mystique went poof D:

Yeah, I noticed that, as well. But honestly, there isn't anything we can do to explain why this is happening right now. I guess it's just best to wait and see.

Edit: Eh, now I agree with AlyssWolf. That does make sense.

I know! I didn't want her name revealed. =| I'm still referring to her as Damsel, though. Or maybe even [Redacted].

Hmm. Which stories did she get interested in, I wonder? I don't know any weird stories about NJ at all, not being from that area... are there any that have to do with fires or floods?

And yeah, this might mean no new videos 'til after Christmas. Ah well. Although it will definitely be interesting to see if the EMH Four (Evan, Vince, Jeff, and Steph) spend Christmas Day together, ala Corenthal's Mining Town Four...

Oh, god, we're restarting the Corenthal letter. Which totally started the end-time sequence for the children.

All I can think of is the Jersey Devil. Hah. And if they don't know about that already I'd have to be pretty worried. .3.

I am kinda glad we know her name. After a while, calling her Damsel gets annoying to me.

Send us any pieces of odd New Jersey culture or history you have to share with us and we'll dig in. Damsel will love you for it. (cont.)

And it's an interesting way to take our mind off of things for a bit, until the holidays. Love you guys. [J]

So this is code for "No updates until after the holidays?" WORST.CHRISTMAS.EVER.

And I'm a little dry on weird NJ stuff, I stop and end with the Jersey Devil

edit: I'm looking through the weird NJ site. Is there a clue for us there? I don't know if we nee to key in on a couple relevent stories or not. There's quite a bit to go through.

edit, the SEQUEL: Dear god, New Jersey is WEIRD.

Yes we are Smile

I just sent them a message...I don't have much to offer them that isn't already reported by WeirdNJ.

I'm pretty sure we have the highest rate of weird-per-square-mile in the US, maybe even the world.

Just a few fun things to note for anyone unfamiliar with Jersey: most signs for exits and such are placed AFTER the turn. The Turnpike is probably someone's sick idea of a joke, since you generally pay to sit in traffic unless it's 2am. Busy roads seldom allow left turns, and you must instead take "jug-handles" (I actually like this oddity). We also like traffic circles. We also have the highest density of diners in the country, similar menus at all, and you're hard-pressed to find one that's downright bad. Even though the state is relatively small, North Jersey and South Jersey are very different places.

Ok, I'll admit that got a laugh out of me.

But who wouldn't be a bit excited if Damsel did that, or if one of the boys stopped to specifically thank one of you.

Well, I did have Evan specifically say that I could have his babies....

As to the Jersey thing, yeah, mentioning the Jersey Devil to the guys would be a bad idea. Mostly because they probably already know about it and so it would waste their time, but also because, with their luck, the Jersey Devil would start coming after them, too.

I'm not pleased with Jersey and the turnpike today. $11 for sitting in traffic and going through an abundance of road work for 2 hours. And then we had to wait like 10 minutes to get our gas pumped. Not fun at all.
