Guys, guys, guys! I've finally figured out (well, I made Google Chrome do it) what the various noises/music is featured on the website!

On the homepage the whispering is from a series of games known as the Chzo Mythos:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chzo_Mythos
I'm not sure how it ties in just yet as I've only glanced through wikipedia, but I sent an email to Antanas asking whether or not they've played it, and if so which one did they like best.

And finally, the song on the looking glass page is a song called Riu Riu Chiu and the lyrics plus translation can be found here:
http://cockburnproject.net/songs&music/rrc.html

I found this the most interesting, because it mentions a child a lot, and Adrian is out searching for his soon-to-be-born step brother. Anyone reckon this child being part of the order's plans or agenda? I've sent my findings to Zack to see what his thoughts are.

EDIT
Ah! I've just had a thought about that song!
It mentions that the river bank protects it, guys, the shrine in the Old Regime video is next to a frigging river. Is it some sort of safe ground? Kyoko mentioned that Eric was looking for this shrine for whatever reason, she didn't say. But she does know where it is.
It's safe to assume that
lamb = baby
wolf = Adrian

Almighty God = Kami using Adrian's email address?

I could be wrong by a long shot, but I've emailed the key players to see what they think. I hope that the kmai is willing to break Adrian's face for us.

But in other news, Sunday is fine! As long as it's not 3am in my part of the world or anything Smile.

Update! New pics have been added to the site, along with a new video.

I think this Antanas person might have gotten to Sara.

I live in Minnesota! Unfortunately I have to work that day so I can't make it to the library myself but I've sent out a call to my friends to see if any of them would be interested/able to make it there. I'll let you know if I have any luck.

Hey everyone, I have a request - you may have seen the thread I started asking for guest writers to put together a short article in a weekly ARG report. I'm hoping to get a different writer in each week to write about a particular ARG, hopefully each week people will be able to go to my blog and read the article and learn about a game they might not have heard about.

With any luck it will be a good resource to bring enthusiastic players over to unFiction and into ARGs in general.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in writing one for Wonderland or Bust? Its a game I know very little about, but it seems to be starting up again after a bit of down time - so I think introducing it to new players like this would really help gather interest.

I would like to leave the content down to the writer and it wouldn't have to be very long, just introduce the game, summarise the story etc.

If anyone is interested in getting involved then the link to the thread is in my signature (theres also more info there on what I'm trying to do) - either leave a post there, PM me, leave a comment on my blog (also linked in my sig) or email me at will.r.knightSPLATgmail.com.

Thanks!
Will

Were I in the area, I would go to the rendezvous. While entirely new to this; I admit that I am most intrigued.

Regrettably, I'm quite a bit farther North than the specified meeting location, and a flight down there for a single event would simply not be feasible for me.

Also, the event was supposed to take place today, was it not? Saturday the 18th of December?

I do look forward to hearing what comes of it all, at any rate.

If nothing else, maybe we could try texting Sara to see what's up?

Well, I haven't been playing this game so far but since nobody else seemed like they were going to show up, i thought I'd take a quick trip to the library which is only a few minutes from my place. Arrived about 10 minutes early. There were a few people outside...a couple listening intently to a guy who was either an excellent actor or a crazy street person. (Overheard: "I've got a lot of ideas, man! So many ideas") I'm betting on the latter.

Hung around inside until 1:00, then wandered back out the to front of the library. The couple and crazy guy still there. the only other people hanging around outside were smokers. Stood around by the statue for a while, walked through the library, came back. Nobody new. I am not a smoker so I seemed very out of place just hanging around outside. Got a few really dirty looks from a couple of thuggish characters. Couple still talking to homeless guy. Thought about texting our contact, but couldn't get the forums loaded up on my phone to check the number.

So, an unsuccessful dead drop for me. Maybe somebody else had more luck. It's possible that the couple were the ones I was supposed to approach, but I try to make it a habit not to engage deranged homeless people on the street.

Well, I just had an interesting correspondence via email with our favorite Red Knight.

I did a bit of prodding. Asking questions, mostly because the Order's supposed website is lacking much in the way of substance. That, and I'm a curious fiend who asks far too many questions.

Hello there.

I saw your website, and I couldn't help but become curious as to the story behind your Order. What are your beliefs? What would you classify your religion as? What do you practice?

Which would also bring me to the next question:

Should such be relevant to my interests, are you accepting of any new members? Particularly initiates who are a distance away? What would membership entail?

I did initially attempt to join your webs.com page, in the hopes of finding out more information, but I never did receive an account authorization email despite having filled out the form.

In fact, I had to look a decent amount in order to obtain your email address to contact you. I would have attended the meeting listed on your site's calendar to ask you these things in person, but I'm rather far away for that and a catching a flight down to attend the rendezvous simply was not(and is not) an option for myself.

I do look forward to receiving a reply from you, whenever you have the time. I imagine you must be busy, and have enough issues to deal with aside from pesky random internet-folk with silly questions.

Many thanks for your time and patience.

And then came this for a reply:

You're talking to the wrong person. I set up the site as part of an assignment for a group I was in. I had my ass kicked out of said group lately. Even so, I know jack shit about the cult. I was trying to mess with a certain group of people.

If you really want your questions answered, email k_tamuraSPLAThush.ai -- although you probably don't want to actually join their little cult. Y'know, unless you want to be mindraped. Then go ahead.

I'm not going to answer any more emails from you people. I'm busy enough staying alive. If you're part of the Zack Arima investigation and just trying to bait me, actually email Zack. I've told him what I know.

I'm not sure how much news this is, but we do have a new email address.

Sure, the gambit I pulled could have been seen as risky and stupid, but. It got us a new email address. One to contact someone with a position in the cult, apparently. This could be useful.

Should I keep prodding in this general direction/follow up the email address provided? Give this K_Tamura an email to see what I can find out?

EDIT: Heh. Just going ahead with the email. See what I can find out. Wish me luck, guys!

Texted Sara! Here's the reply I got (a few texts rolled into one thing:

Quote:
I was at the library today, but I watched the statue from another floor, and couldn't see anyone. Well, there was one person, but by the time I could get downstairs he was gone. Ended the day being stalked by Antanas. If there is someone in MN working with you, could you give them my cell phone number? I'd like to try to arrange a meet up WITHOUT Antanas. I want to give you guys a package I was sent, but I'm dead broke, so I can't afford postage. I was hoping to ask one of you about the objects today, see if you got anything out of them.

So, we might get our meet up after all! I know her number is on the first page, but I'll rewrite it here. Hope we can finally get this over with!

Wrote a reply to him, that's what I got back:

Adrian?

I assume you are talking about Zack and David? We haven't heard any news for a while. Where are you? What's happening?

[quote=Adrian]
I need to know where they are so I can end this.

Where are you people?
