At 0:34 it sounds as if Jessica says something, but I could not make it out.

Can anyone else make out what she is saying?

Hey, just thinking about something. An Operator connects people and points right? What if the "operator" is connecting a fuckload of people, in this case Jess and Jay to get something accomplished? And the blood is of someone who was a "dropped call"?

Its kinda farfetched, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Droshi I agree with you on many points, not so much your conclusion that they were intentionally brought together by an external force. More likely one (I would say at this point as he has that memory gap) found the other or they are both hunting the same thing, two hunters still have but one trail, no?

One thing is for sure. Jay has no grasp of subtly

Jessica is wearing a black top, blue jeans, and black shoes and is now holding her cellphone in her left hand.

Jay: "Thank you."
Jessica: "No problems.

Distortion starts again.

Jessica: "Are you some kind of hotel hermit?"
Jay: "A what?"

Jay turns his head to look at Jessica.

Jessica: "A hermit. People don't normally bring groceries to hotels.
Jay: "Aaa... Well you know it's *chuckles* I guess not."

Jessica looks down at the groceries.

Jessica: "What are you doing here? You've been here for a while."
Jay: "Umm, it's my house."
Jessica: "The hotel?"
Jay: "No, li-like my house, it's being renovated."
Jessica: "Oh!"
Jay: "So, like, I'm staying here until it's fixed. So, yeah--Why are--What a-What about you? Like, why are you here, awhile?"
Jessica: "Oh, I, got kicked out." while Jay is saying "why are you here, awhile" at 1:06
Jay: "You got kicked out?"
Jessica: "mmhmm, uh so I am just like here until I find a new place."
Jay: "Uh, okay. Umm... why'd you get kicked out?"

Jessica shakes her head in a no motion

Jay: "Oh, I just, shooting some stuff in here, and thought that I heard these noises coming from your room."

At 2:51 when jay is saying "stuff" Jessica looks into Jay's room.

Jessica: "I-I'm going to go to bed."

Jessica closes her door.

Notes, Speculation, & Analysis

Jessica's cellphone is red.


Jessica is talking to a friend on the cellphone about her being kicked out of her apartment.
Her friend says that she probably did it while blacked out due to drinking.
Jessica protests by saying she did not do it and was not drinking during the time of her blackout.
Her friend states that Jessica did something to prove it was her.
Jessica gives a confused response "I did?"

Jessica is telling the truth about being kicked out of her apartment, what is more, it appears she is totally unaware of the Operator.

Jay is missing an aglet on the left tie of his hoody (As seen at 0:24, 0:31)

Jay is wearing black shoes. They look like they might be the same shoes as seen in Entry #29.

At 0:34 it sounds as if Jessica says something, but I could not make it out.

Jessica sure does smile a lot. Plus she was biting her lip and nodding a lot during this footage as well.

Jay is sleeping under the covers this time. Every other time he was on top of the covers.

At 3:03 the safe can be seen.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but when Jessica said she was "kicked out", maybe her home was burned down too like Jays. She did say she didn't want to talk about it. I'm also on the theory that she's another victim like Jay.

Akemi-Idane mentioned that Jessica doesn't seem to be acting paranoid enough to be slendy-stalked. The coughing seems to me to be far too obvious a clue for her not to be suffering the slendy-sickness. Maybe she's in the early stages and hasn't seen anything to make her paranoid yet.

Also, in the last entry she mentioned that Jay's name seemed familiar. Well, I know this doesn't exactly fit since she reacted to his full name and we never hear his surname, but...

Is it not feasible that she may have seen Marble Hornets on Youtube? I mean, look how many views and subscriptions it has. I don't think it's at all far-fetched to think that Jay might run into someone who's seen his vids. I don't think that would clash with the story either - Youtube is as much an in-game part of MH as it is OOG. ToTheArk has definitely seen his uploads!

And my final two cents: I think you guys looking for things behind Jess in her room are clutching at straws. No offence, it's just that if there is anything there, it's so vague and difficult to see it wouldn't have been worth the effort. The MH boys like to make us work for the clues, but when there IS something to be found, there's really very little doubt that it's there once it's been spotted.
If there was something to see behind jess in #30, I'm completely certain we'd have been given a better chance of spotting it.
Anyway, Jess is an enigma at the moment. Giving us a shot of The Op or Masky in her room now would give too much away at this point.

Edit: Just thought about it a bit more and I have to reject my own theory about Jess having seen Jay's youtube uploads. Unless she knows exactly what's going on, she'd been freaking out completely by now if she'd seen it all.

Based on the fact that doors don't always lead to where one thinks they lead, it is my theory that when J is inside his room, it is someone other than Jessica who is in the room next to him. I also believe that this person has somehow figured out the door trick and is trying to leave their room by some other means, i.e. moving furniture to try to get out through the ceiling, followed by an attempt to pound a hole through a cinder block wall. Why do it at night? Can we be sure that the person next door is perceiving it to be night time?
